Lots of sights with beautiful architecture. There’s a lot going on with it being the centre of the old town.

Absolutely stunning! The outside, while grand, does not do the inside justice at all. The sheer size of the inside is deceptive and the beautiful artwork and ornaments are breath taking.

While the place is a solemn venue it is a marvel to walk around and take it all in.

Great to see the chairs. They are not where our map said they were & were tricky to find. They are on the opposite side of the river to the old town and are close to the Jewish ghetto. Near to a big bus terminal - come over the bridge & go straight ahead they are on the right hand side. On the far corner of the square is the pharmacy which helped save lives during WW11.

The bridge is like a bridge, just nice, for walking, no cars. Equipped with two walking paths and levitating lashes.

The primary reason to visit this church is the sculptures of Jesus and the 11 Apostles outside the church. The interior is fairly standard for a European Catholic church but the sculptures outside are definitely worth a stop.

Very nice panorama at the top. 360 degrees view on Cracow. Just a few minutes from the city center by tram. Don't go through the cemetery as there is no exit at its end. Nice green flat areas where the locals are gathering. Very peaceful.

This is a pretty gate but to get to it (other than walking through it) you need to buy a ticket from the Barbican just outside. This then allows you to visit the city walls and Florian Gate, including the small exhibition.
The Barbican visit is excellent and it is worth viewing the walls and gate too as there is a nice little model to show how it all originally fitted together.

This is the main street of the old city and the magnet for the tourists that come here to visit and to by souvenirs.

This is a great bit of fun on the banks of the Vistula, next to Wawel Castle. The flames are about every five minutes and it usually has people crowded around it. Certainly a nice little distraction to visit.

We visited here during our time in Krakow. Combined it with another venture. Views were amazing . We had a short walk along the river but had to turn back as it was closed off for some reason. Got a cab to our next venture The Mound

Until recently (2007) mainly used as a car park, but after thorough renovation now a lovely square with historic tenement houses, the Jesuit monastery and apse of Saint Barbara church. During the day there are many stalls selling local produce and souvenirs. Sometimes a stage is set up where traditional Polish art is performed. In the evening the rectangular square is usually more quiet, though at the northeastern corner there are many bars and restaurants where locals go out.

Cracow Central Railway Station was built by architect Peter Rosenbaum in 1844-1846 with neo-Renaissance decorations like turrets and crenellations, currently totally unrecognisable due to modifications. Intersting building.

Today I had my lunch in Utica Kanonicza. The waitress, her nam like the lost Princess Anastasia, chose all the dishes. I am used to do that. She chose wonderfull dishes and surprised my with delicious food. She helped me superbly.

Szeroka is the most important street of Kazimierz district. There are all kind of buildings, many of them really interesting, some nice restaurants and coffees.
