Amazing place with history from XIII century . Sukiennice, Mariacki church the most famous in the world. The biggest one in Krakow, area 4 hectares . Must see for everyone . More than 50 restaurants around.

Krakows old square with market hall and of course restaurants around it. The maria church with the trumpet player is also located here.

Beautifully decorated church full of colour and art. We went for the opening of the High Alter at 11.50 and that was really spectacular. It’s worth having a really good look round to see the amazing art.

We booked tickets through our hotel when we were in Krakow. I'm glad we did because when we arrived it was absolute chaos - there was a lengthy queue outside and people were bustling in/out of the doors and guides were trying to gather their groups. We were waiting outside for a good while still, even though we were on a guided group. Getting in was again a faff, they're just quite unorganised with tickets/cloakroom/security.
Once you're in, you're fine! Loads and loads of WW2 / Occupation of Poland info and detail. Not loads on Schindler, so bear that in mind. Our tour guide was 10/10 - I think her name was Martina, with Krakow Direct.

Majestic historical gem. Really enjoyed my time here and I spent around 5 hours total. I got the combined ticket for everything. Stand outs include the treasure room and residences.

You can add the cathedral to extend the time. The dragon cave was pointless and the tower was just ok.

Overall a very enjoyable experience. You can use your ticket multiple times for the toilet

We did a buggy tour of the district, which really helped us know about the history, some of which we wouldn't have known about because just looking at some of the buildings they were quite hidden or not instantly recognised.

I was very fortunate to have a very good tour guide for this tour and I got the feeling he could have entertained us for probably 5 hours just in the Cathedral.

The Cathedral ended up being the place where Casmir The Great and King Jagiello were discussed. And, our tour guide shared an interesting story about Bishop Stanislaus in 1079. He was killed by the then current 1079, King Boleslaw II.

There was all the significant history of Poland right in this Cathedral. This Cathedral was the most important attraction in Krakow! No photos were permitted.

We were not really bothered by all the shops will their jewellery, galls ware and souvenirs. The interior was stunning. The place is large and has an incredible history. Well worth the time to walk through.

Good and quite place to worship. Currently there are some renovation activities, so some places are hidden.

    Old mosaic is renovating also.

    Nice Park and walkway
Could do with some lighting as evenings feel a bit eerie
Nice models, sculptures along with plenty of benches to sit and take in the beauty

We had a tour guide to explain the meaning of the chairs and point out some of the significant surrounding buildings. Very interesting, and also very heartbreaking. Highly recommend it.

This is a fabulous museum. It's a timed entry, and then you can go through at your own pace. It's not huge, but it's fascinating. Don't miss the tiny globe from 1510 with the first representation of the Americas. The actual globe is in the Copernicus room, in the glass cabinet, and there is also a model that is much bigger and easier to see.

Classical favorites played in a stunningly beautiful, easily accessible venue—St. Peter and Paul Church! Different concerts every night of the week at 8:00 PM. Reasonably-priced. Tickets available at the door. Highly recommend as a crowd-pleasing, relaxing cultural activity, that can fill in any free evening in Krakow!

Easter Saturday, a beautiful choir echoing in the street brought us to watch the procession enter a wonderfully lit church. The gold shone out and the incense made it more mesmerising. A big church with an amazing interior that would require sometime to stand and observe and absorb it all. Superb architecture.
