What travelers are saying
- John C3 contributionsA last minute trip that was amazing.
From the initial meet and greet to hopping on the final train, the itinerary was seamless, thanks Tomasz.. we varied the itinerary a bit to fit in with our overall trip and this was easily accommodated by Tomasz.
The hotels varied a bit, but all were good. They were central so we walked a lot, but the public transport is easy to access and even I worked out how to pay easily.
The guides, of course, made the trip. They are all different, but all were friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. Thank you very much.
Poland is a very interesting place to visit and see, we would be happy to stay longer. It’s friendly and relaxed and feels very safe. Next time I would try to avoid arriving at Modlin airport as it is so far out, but that didn’t trouble our guide Jola who came to meet us.
The best city? Sorry, that’s just too hard.
Thank you to all our guides again :)Written July 15, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Witek ensured we arrived at all our accommodations, restaurants, boats, castles, churches, and many other travel destinations as mentioned on the itinerary. He shared with us a lot of local knowledge and history of Poland. I believe we saw and did the best of Poland that would not have been offered by any another travel company. So much fun!! Would highly recommend this tour!Written September 25, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

When we arrived at the airport our driver was waiting for us holding a sign with our name on and took us straight to our apartment. The trips went perfect and picked us up and dropped us off at our apartment. The journey back to the airport was on time and every driver we had was excellent. Thank you mrshuttle for make our break so easy and hassle free from Paul and leighWritten November 26, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Janet L4 contributionsI have traveled all over the world and this was the best experience I have had. The organization was superb, the hotels wonderful, the sights and sounds amazing, I cannot say enough about this company. I worked with them to create a tour that was custom made. Kristopher the tour guide and driver is steeped in Polish history and was patient, kind, flexible and a joy to travel with. The company did not miss a step…sheer perfection. I found them online and took a chance and it was like winning the lottery. Kudos all around. Thanks for such a memorable trip.Written September 19, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

The tours however would not have been so easy to enjoy if it were not for the organization that Christopher did. We had plenty of time to visit both places in one day. It made everything easy and trouble free giving us the ability to actually enjoy the visits. Auschwitz is definitely worth a visit. The salt mines were fascinating, beautiful, well layed out for visitors and just truly amazing.Written July 4, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Victoria R1 contributionI highly recommend GFP Travel for your trip to Poland! My husband has a degree in Holocaust studies, and he realized he really needed to visit the Auschwitz concentration camp. We decided to book GFP Travel's tour, “Tracing WWIl History in Poland." It was amazing! All of our guides and drivers were native Poles who spoke excellent English and knew so much about WWll history, and it was also interesting to talk with them about how Poland is today. Auschwitz was so intense and so heartbreaking, but I'm glad we visited, because you can't even begin to imagine to scale of the horrors until you visit it for yourself. Our guide in Warsaw, Jacek, drove us all around Warsaw, was so nice and taught us so much, and our guides/ drivers in Krakow — Lukas, Robert, etc. — were so great, too. They were all well-informed and very helpful, and so was Tomasz in the GFP office. Lukas even took us to a wondertul roadside sausage restaurant between Auschwitz and Krakow that we never would have known about on our own. Thank you so much for an amazing journey, GFP Travel!Written July 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - swapna y3 contributionsThis tour was fantastic and my trip was flawless. Everything was organized extremely well and the communication from me contacting GFP to book the travel to actually being on the tour was amazing. Everything was explained well. Thomaz and the rest of the tour guides communicated every detail of the trip for me and were readily available to answer any questions I had. I had some additional things I wanted to do that were not listed on the itinerary and Thomaz conveniently assisted me in making those arrangements.
The tour guides were very knowledgeable and extremely engaging making the trip even more memorable.

Our guide was Dr. Seweryn Osowski, whose knowledge of the city’s history was extensive, and his storytelling skills brought historical landmarks to life. We learned not just facts but also fascinating anecdotes that made the tour memorable. Seweryn’s dedication to his craft and his love for the city were evident throughout. His expertise and enthusiasm made our trip unforgettable, and we will cherish the memories he helped create.Written June 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
