My friend and I were the first customers for this new offering by Cracow Local Tours. It is a flat out wonderful way to spend a few hours outside Krakow. Martin, our driver and translator, met us at our apartment in Krakow right on time. He was courteous, friendly, and engaging. He drove us to Kresy Winery, a small family owned winery about 40 minutes from central Krakow in the beautiful surrounding countryside. Robert, the owner and vintner, met us when we arrived and spent about two hours just with my friend and me, with Martin translating. Robert was a terrific host, answering all of our questions, walking us around the vineyard and explaining the land, the vines, the soil, and how he brought his passion for wine to life on his property, as well as the winemaking process. The vineyard produces about 8000 bottles annually. After the tour, Robert hosted a tasting of eight of his wines which were really very good - whites, roses, and a red, as well as a unique orange colored vintage. We purchased three bottles. It was an interesting, entertaining, and relaxing excursion - we highly recommend it. Five stars from both of us and thanks to Robert and Martin for a terrific day!!

We did this on our last night in Krakow & we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!
We got picked up for a 20 minute drive to the venue & were seated on our own table.
We were given a cherry liqueur which was delicious as we arrived, and all drinks including beer & wine were unlimited for the evening (the wine wasn’t the best, but we didn’t expect it to be, the beer was good though). We were served with Polish sour soup - we didn’t like the look or sound of it, but all agreed it was delicious! We were then served with schnitzel, potatoes & sauerkraut, this was very good! Then there was an unlimited hot & cold buffet with a vast array of traditional Polish food including dessert.
The music & dancing was great fun & there was some audience participation!
It was a great evening & we were dropped back off where we were picked up.
It was a two hour experience (3 with transfers) and it was brilliant.
When you get on the bus, they check for dietary requirements & food allergies which was good. To get there, there are two pick up points, but at drop off, there is only one. As time slots are booked, the bus will not wait if you are late!
