Due to my personal opinion that place is so big but there are some other places in Poland more worth to see. But I give 4 stars just because it looks okay.

Visited this in January 2022 with snow on the ground, absolutely beautiful place. If your feeling keen lace up your walking boots and walk around all of the lakes, a big day but you'll be rewarding with glimpses of all sorts of wildlife.

The main attraction to visit this park is the wooden church of the Archangel Michael (Kościół św. Michała Archanioła w Katowicach), which was saved from destruction in another town and moved to this park. It is over 500 years old and very picturesque!

This amazing cultural zone is placed just 5 minutes from the Katowice Runek (Main Square). It is a large urban and contemporary space, where you will find how the history and the ideas for the future of the city are meeting one another. It is a complex comprising the Concert Hall (Spodek), in form of the Nonidentified flying object, Congress Center, half beneath the small artificial hill, half in black glass, Philharmonic, contemporary edition of the old red-bricks building in Silesia, and a Silesia Museum, 4 floors beneath the earth, with amazing complex of old and contemporary buildings turned into galleries and caffees. All this is conected with paths, fountains, trees and benches to have a time-out. Moreover, all this promises you a great afternoon stroll, and getting to know the live and cultural spirit of the town! When here you should definitely visit Silesia Museum, which is by all standards great: interactive, diverse, provocative and full of great contents! As their permanent exhibits, hey have a part dedicated to modern Polish art, simply amazing and refreshing, and a part dedicated to the history of all region, well organized, interesting and substantial! You have free entrance every Tuesday, and that is when you can see so many people strolling around here and enjoying the culture and history they have, and coffee and drinks in between. However, it is also worth to pay the entrance, which is inexpensive. The staff is super friendly and all of them speak English. You should definitely come and stroll around Strefa of you are in katowice- get something to drink, chat with polite Polish people around and enjoy the city spirit. It will take you 3-4 hours all, but you will have good memory of the city!

This place is massive and mainly on one floor, plenty of shops both local and international brands. Was open later the evening we arrived, also plenty of options for dining from snacks to full course meals. Defo worth a visits if a couple of hours shopping is your thing :)

This is directly linked with the main station Katowice and gave me the first impression when I once reached this new city: vibrant, full of life. There are different chained stores and cafes or dessert restaurants for anybody to take a nice break from the stroll of the city centre.

    My travel was amazing!
I booked a transit from Zakopane to Cracow Airport there last week.
Then I ordered the Airport Transfer from Zakopane to Katowice.
The driver was very nice for me and he helped with my huge luggage.Car was very clean and exclusive. Best company for me!
I'm glad that I picked correct company!

It seems to be just another IMAX in just another city, however there is also a bowling and a couple of bars (and standard pop-corn, of course). As I missed the latest Star Wars premiere at home, I have been there to see it during my Christmas holidays (it was possible to find a few showings without Polish dubbing but check it before!). The final experience is fully comparable (if not better) to any IMAX in UK and it probably cost only half of it.
