Spent a day here last week with my son. I downloaded a tour guide so that we actually had a route to follow and so that we knew what to look out for and the history of the place. The tour we walked was:
Upland Gate – Amber museum – Golden Gate – Long Market and Neptune Fountain – Artus Court – The Golden House – Green Gate – Long Waterfront – Chlebnicka Gate – St Mary’s Gate – St Mary’s Street – St Mary’s Basilica – Swietego Ducha Street – Crane – Traders Gate – Olowianka Island – The Royal Granary – SS Soldek Museum Ship – Gdansk Marina – Stagiewna Gate – Green Bridge. We also took a 90 minute boat trip (which was informative and relaxing) and ate at one of the restaurants on the waterside.
    Lovely and interesting place.

Oliwa Cathedral was erected as a Cistercian church in the thirteenth century as a Gothic, three-nave basilica. It was built on the plan of a Latin cross, measuring 107 metres and is the longest church in Poland. Its beautiful interior conceals many art treasures: numerous altars, a Rococo pulpit, great stalls or Renaissance portraits of numerous benefactors of the Cistercian monastery. In the central part of the monumental presbytery you can find the main Baroque altar. Its “earthly sphere” consists of black columns arranged in a semicircle and “heavenly sphere” is a vision of heaven: stucco clouds and angel  heads.

Another one of Gdansk's charming streets, with more pretty architecture, heaps of amber shops, and a few cafes and eateries. Worth a stroll down if you want a less bustling street than Dluga but still want to see the beauty of Old Town Gdansk.

If you arrive to Gdansk around lunch time this is a great trip to do first thing as you can go there by guided boat tour in english/polish/german, walk around, have a beer and come back before dinner time. It's an easy and pleasant walk in the woods and provides some interesting WWII ruins.

Our kids (9&7) really enjoyed the boat trip and the walk.

What an amazing and impressive church! Virtually stumbled across it whilst in Gdansk for the day with my son and was blown away by it's sheer size and the beauty of its inside. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

One of my favourite things about Gdańsk was walking along the waters edge both on a morning and an evening. Perfect for people watching, restaurants and bars. The crane is cool to check out and the basilica stands proud slap bang in the middle. Good fun crossing over the bridges too and the ones that lift up and swivel out are enjoyable to witness. Tonight we rode on the amber eye Ferris wheel for beautiful views for miles around. Head here for a walk around and you won’t be disappointed. We found everything to be cheap and didn’t feel at all threatened or pestered when away.

Went down to the river to see this amazing crane. Looks such a great structure. Not the best photo at night though.

Nice area, with beautiful old buildings. A bit on repair work going on, so some of the street is blocked off.

A really good place to see the old city from above. You can see the closest neighbourhood and some parts of the city a little bit further.

The Gdańsk Town Hall spire, with a golden replica of King Zygmunt August on its pinnacle, dominates ul. Długa's skyline. It was built in the late 14th century as the seat of city authorities and it hosted many Polish kings. Town hall was almost completely destroyed during WWII but rebuilt with extraordinary care.

When we visited it was lit up with Ukraine's colours. A great sight at night, but not so good in daylight. There is another sculpture of Neptune at Hel, which is more impressive.

Nice place for a walk while touring Park Reagan and you can be sure you don't need to pay an arbitrary fee as in Sopot's molo.

As in other piers there are benches where you can chill take a rest or eat something. There are no shops of any kind in the molo but at the entrance there are a couple of shops and places to buy gofry, ice cream, beer, fish and chips, etc.

    Enjoy

We have only seen it in wintertime but in summer it must be great too!

Lovely stadium; shame only 4800 turned up to see the home team win 4-0. Got the number 10 tram from outside the main train station in Gdansk; journey time about 20 minutes. Arrived in good time to have a walk round the stadium; interestingly could not find the ticket office or club shop; merely a vendor selling the usual hats/scarves and key rings etc. If you intend going to see a game I would recommend purchasing a ticket via the website; it's really easy to do and has several language options. My ticket in Stand I cost £6.
The stadium is quite stunning; such a shame the Europa final was moved because of Covid, but it has been rescheduled to host it in 2021; fingers crossed as it's an apt setting.
Staff very helpful, facilities immaculate and plenty of food/beverages on sale. Great that free buses take you back to the station straight after the game.
Also, lovely to see so many families at the game. I will definitely go back to this stadium
