Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Lina BVollsjo, Sweden12 contributionsOur guide Erik showed us to 4 different restaurants where we had 3 different kinds of pirogi, 2 soups, 2 main courses of typical home made Polish dishes and finaly we ended the night at a bar with some drinks. Oh and I forgot, we also tried 2 different vodkas.
During the whole night Erik was a realy nice host and talked alot about Polish food, important holidays and the meaning and importance of food. We learned alot of things about food and culture but also about history and architecture when we were walking the city.

He started off the tour giving us exceptional insight into the history of Gdansk, showing us some of the most influential places in the city, telling us local stories and legends as we walked along. After, he took us to several restaurants and bars where we experienced traditional Polish cuisine and beverages that truly gave us the experience we were looking for! - Joel JohanssonJönköping, Sweden2 contributionsFirst time on a vodka tasting. We were 5 guys and all of us thought it was very intresting, fun and tasty.
The event was hosted in a celler of a an old beautiful, historical restaurant in central Gdansk, which made it more special and easy to find. Except the good tasty vodka we also got delicious fingerfood.
Our guide Moniika was fun, kind and social. Moniika really had a lot of knowledge about vodka, the history behind it, polish history and the communist period which see did present in an intresting way.
We were also very happy with
Martyna, the one that organized our reservation, placed the order, and scheduled Monika. Thanks for all the help and for making our reservation so easy.
We can all really recommend this tasting. Operator seemed non plussed by this and has made no attempts process a refund. She was so kind and answered any questions we had. She is so smart. She truly loves her city and that energy is infectious because now we love Gdansk. - Exploration30520710 contributionsMy husband and I decided to do the food tasting and cocktail pairing experience - the food was incredibly good especially the main plate with pork. This pairing experience is over the average price but highly worth it in my opinion - the food was very good and the cocktails were innovative and well paired with the dishes. The staff were very knowledgeable and nice , explaining every dish and cocktail that was being offered.

The cocktails varied for each of us based on our taste. We learnt different techniques and tried some good alcohol. Thanks to Alex and the Eliksir we spent our special day perfectly.
