What travelers are saying
- Artur Z1 contributionOne of the best Polish ski resorts. You can find all the slopes: red, black and blue. Good snow conditions last for several winter months. In the resort you will find several chairlifts and a gondola lift.
At the top of the mountain you will find several regional restaurants with good Polish cuisine.Written March 6, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Great teachers, good fun and easy slopes to learn on.

Good point is that return ticket cost as much as just ticket up (35pln).Written June 29, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Miriam B26 contributionsWhat a fabulous ski town! The lifts were great and actually not too much of a wait, mainly blue runs but that suited us just fine. Lots of food options and well priced. The main difficulty for us was getting breakfast..m NOTHING opened until 10am and the first day we didn't know so whilst the lifts are functioning from around 9am... make sure you have breakfast at the hotel.Written January 12, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - KTP310Reading, UK1,215 contributionsI really enjoyed skiing at Harenda. It is very easy to reach by bus from Zakopane and equipment can be rented very reasonably (£8 for 3 hours). A 3 hour lift pass costs just £22 and gave access to 3-4 button lifts and a chair lift. There were half a dozen runs suited to either beginners or intermediates. On a sunny Saturday morning the slopes were popular but didn’t feel too busy. There was a small cafe at the top of the chair lift and a nice restaurant at the bottom (I found everyone very friendly). The views from Harenda across to the Tatra mountains were impressive.Written January 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Marcin 7-17Gdynia, Poland7,079 contributionsBeautiful views of Żywiec, quite easy entry and the possibility of taking a cable car (they run every now and then). Upstairs restaurant, bar and toboggan run. It's worth going in and enjoying the views.Written August 25, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - chefy1London, UK46 contributionsOne of the many places that we visited whilst in wista! Lovely views and and if you want to you can have a drink whilst at the very top overlooking the jump!Written August 19, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Krzysztof KDabrowa Gornicza, Poland196 contributionsThe cable car is great, it's a pity there is no downhill, only a chairlift. The view from above is even better, over the Vistula River and the surrounding area. The price is reasonable.Written August 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Froni_TGdynia, Poland51 contributionsShort slope mainly for beginners and learners. Car park and tavern nearby. Not so many people like in Kotelnica. If you want to learn is it for you.Written January 26, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Henri8888Prague, Czech Republic191 contributionsWe went here skiing for the second time this winter, and liked it a lot. It has quite a lot of skiing tracks for both beginners and medium skilled skiiers. Great for kids, although frankly they are much better at skiing than me (so great for me as well). The staff is very attentive to everyone. Good service all around. It is easy to spend here at least half a day.Written February 27, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Cindy GVestal, NY13 contributionsThe Bieg Piastow ski race was well run and the course was great. We were worried there would not be enough snow. There was no snow in the lower valleys. But once up in the mountains, there was 3 feet plus of snow and it was cold at night making for fast conditions! Folks told us they ski until May! The start and finish are close by making logistics easy.Written March 21, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Agnieszka_11Cookham, UK25 contributionsIt's a tiny slope that would be perfect for beginners. I went to have some lessons there with my 6 year old son. Instructors were lovely and we were able to learn some skiing basics. Very relaxed atmosphere.
Prices for lessons and for equipment rental are great (just remember cash only).
I would thoroughly recommend as a learning slope.Written March 2, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We had great weather and the slopes were perfect for our level of skiing. You would probably get bored here if you can ski well or are used to alpine skiing. There are plenty of places to eat, small shops and ski hire. There are two chair lifts, two button lifts and one magic carpet. It was quite busy when we went as half term and getting on the lifts an interesting experience!! The views were lovely as we had a sunny day after a night of snowfall. Staff speak a little English and we managed to get by. It cost 99 zloty for the day with 10 zloty deposit returned when you hand in your pass. We got a taxi from zakopane which cost about £20. You can get the bus from zakopane to bukowina and the ski bus to Ruskin ski which would be cheaper. A good day out for a family!Written February 22, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- endrju_74Ipswich, UK4,830 contributionsCzarna Góra is a skiing center, some people argue is the best one in Poland. But we visited in may with not a single trace of snow in sight. Czarna Góra still exists in warmer months, but in reduced size. Only one of ski lifts works, and only thursday-sunday. It runs every twenty minutes for about ten minutes, but opens anytime for larger groups. As we went there many people with mountain bicycles were waiting for their chance to get to the top, so ski lift started almost immediatly. There's a slide on the other side of the center. And only those two attractions are open in spring/summer months. And right between those two there's a restaurant with tasty meals and long wait, first for a waitress, and then for ordered food. Nice break for us. Need to try it in winter.Written July 24, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
