Unfortunately, currently it's under construction. They put some huge buildboards around it so people can read about this historical part of Olomouc. There are ongoing Christmas festivities which are worth to check it out. Very pretty.

The Astronomical Clock in Prague, Czech Republic, is a mesmerizing architectural marvel that adds to the stunning atmosphere of this vibrant city. Located in the Old Town Square, the clock is a popular tourist attraction and a symbol of Prague's rich history and culture.

The Astronomical Clock, also known as the Orloj, dates back to the 15th century and is the oldest working astronomical clock in the world. Its intricate design and functionality make it a true masterpiece. Every hour, on the hour, the clock comes to life as the figures on the clock face move, accompanied by the chiming of bells. This captivating display attracts crowds of spectators who gather to witness this magical moment.

The atmosphere surrounding the Astronomical Clock is truly enchanting. The Old Town Square itself is a bustling hub of activity, with lively street performers, charming cafes, and historic buildings. The square is always filled with a vibrant energy, both day and night, as locals and tourists alike gather to soak in the beauty of the surroundings.

As the Astronomical Clock is located in the heart of Prague, it is surrounded by the city's stunning architecture. The Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque buildings create a backdrop that adds to the charm and character of the place. Exploring the narrow streets and picturesque alleyways around the clock is a delightful experience, with surprises awaiting at every turn.

In addition to its visual beauty, the Astronomical Clock holds historical significance. It serves as a reminder of Prague's medieval past and the ingenuity of the craftsmen who created it. Overall, the Astronomical Clock in Prague is a captivating sight that adds to the already stunning atmosphere of this great city. Its intricate design, historical significance, and the lively surroundings make it a must-see attraction for anyone visiting Prague.

A beautifull cathedral that is poetic and inspiring. I loved photos that were taken when there was still corona, they hung them inside - the photos show people believing in it getting better and wanting to feel closer to god even though it was difficult-. The cathedral is a beautiful place and an old mister that was so generous to show us this place, explained the history of this place. Beautiful visit.

This church is huge and the decoration inside is stunning. Built on top of a hill overlooking the valley and Olomouc you can look back and see the pilgrim road. The church is more a cathedral in size and beauty. Well worth a visit.

I liked this new fountain, which was created in 2002 as part of the reconstruction of the Upper Square. Especially two big turtles were very nice. One of them was situated in the water, but the second one was located next to the fountain, much to the delight of children that could climb or sat on it. There were quite a lot of benches around and people sat there, relaxed and enjoyed watching the fountain.
