- Marek_ZGZielona Gora, Poland1,548 contributionsThe Old Town of Olomouc is full of amazing sights such as fountains, picturesque buildings, pillars and columns. Out of the latter, Holy Trinity Column stands out. Being one of UNESCO World Heritage Sites, one cannot expect anything less impressive.Written July 16, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Built on top of a hill overlooking the valley and Olomouc you can look back and see the pilgrim road. The church is more a cathedral in size and beauty. Well worth a visit.Written August 29, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Avar88Ilava, Slovakia21 contributionsA beautifull cathedral that is poetic and inspiring. I loved photos that were taken when there was still corona, they hung them inside - the photos show people believing in it getting better and wanting to feel closer to god even though it was difficult-. The cathedral is a beautiful place and an old mister that was so generous to show us this place, explained the history of this place. Beautiful visit.Written August 20, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Michael Stuart EOlomouc, Czech Republic266 contributionsAs far as zoos go, Olomouc zoo seems to offer its animals at least a certain degree of habitat, although the bears enclosure could be better. There is good work with regards to rescuing animals, ie the owl enclosure. There is pleasant forest shade for hot, summer days and optional extras for kids who want something with a little more adrenaline. The restaurant is pleasant, reasonably priced and overall, a good day out. There have been complaints about the carpark system which i can't comment on as we fortunately don't rely on cars to get around. The public transport system from Olomouc is great and it's an easy cycle ride away.Written May 29, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - WaterloonieSanta Barbara, CA1,604 contributionsDominating the upper town square, this building has been spectacularly renovated. It has been well worth the wait.

Especially two big turtles were very nice. One of them was situated in the water, but the second one was located next to the fountain, much to the delight of children that could climb or sat on it. There were quite a lot of benches around and people sat there, relaxed and enjoyed watching the fountain.Written June 20, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Erin MIndianapolis, IN178 contributionsGreat food tour! We loved trying the Olomouc cheese in all its forms and our family were big fans by the end of the tour.
Lenka was very accommodating with the mobility issues of my elderly family members and was able to alter the tour to meet our needs. She even brought gluten free bread for my mother in law!
Lenka is very knowledgeable about food and the history of the city. I would highly recommend to other tourists in the city.Written December 2, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
