Must see when you´re in the city.
This cathedral is on a hill in the city centre. It is very beautiful inside and outside. It is very nicely decorated, not over the top

Walked through the park and climbed up to this castle and walked round the garderns and through some areas of the castle.Lovely views from different areas in the gardens but visibility was poor as damp cold day.The paths were covered in leaves and wet so slippery as you went through the park, but it was Autumn.

If you are interested in modern architecture, you cannot afford to miss this opportunity - full access to a meticulously-restored 1920s villa designed by Mies. It is such a great opportunity to familiarize yourself with Mies's understanding of space. We went on a 90-minute tour with a guide (if you are not a hard-core architecture buff, you may want to consider the shorter option). Our guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and spoke good English. Can't recommend it strongly enough!

It is a must be for any history fans. it is possible to sleep in there and I highly recommend doing it to everybody who does not care about luxury. All rooms and corridors are full of thematic equipment such as gas masks, cans for those masks, hemical uniforms etc. It is perfect experience for 1 or 2 nights. (I recommend bringing your own sleeping bag). Tour itself was interesting and it was included in room price!

Probably the biggest and main square in the city. Beautiful buildings around and also the church can be seen. Lot of locals and tourists

Much smaller than others we have visited but still worth the stop. Friendly staff and useful information sheet and boards.

Second biggest ossury after the one near Prague but it's actually pretty small. Takes all of 10 minutes to see so it's not great value time wise. But it is important history wise and there are some lovely works of art alongside the bones. Plus it has been very well restored and there is accompanied music by local composers which is a nice touch. Don't be put off by the surrounding construction, it's still worth a visit.

It was a short visit compare to other churches seen, and to breath a spiritual atmosphere, soothing little bit in our daily pace, between our lunch and moving to visit the business event near... We visited the church only shortly, quietly and took a few photographs...

Very interesting. The tour lasted 45 minutes.
Unfortunately, there is no tour in English. However, the guide was saying some stuff in English, quickly. I'd prefer to have a dedicated English tour.
Besides that, it's worth the visit. If you have the Brno pass you get a 20% discount for the ticket.

My family visited the castle by taking the boat from the resevior. The castle is in a really beautiful spot and towers above the countryside. There are a few courtyards and a tower to turn and a small exhibition currently about land use. There's a place to get food and a wine shop. Traveling to the castle and tourning was a half day activity.

My grandmother used to live in Telnice, village only few kilometres from the Monument of Peace on the hill of Prace. So I have known the Mohyla míru for all my life. That is why I am surprised meeting people who claim they never visited this historic battle field so well described in the novel War and Peace by Lev Tolstoj. In December there are special events organized to commemorate the Grand Battle of Three Emperors.

I was lucky being invited to visit this Brno villa designed by Ernst Wiesner while rooms were full of flowers arranged by contemporary floral designers. One more thing attracted my attention - the fashion parade - hommage to Elsa Schiaparelli. My friend and me had our hats on as well and we applauded to beautiful ladies and their creations. We had enjoyed the inspiring moments and wish you to have the fall of grace too.

Welcome to the part of Brno underground with the new audio-visual exhibition named The Fiery Horse and the Dragon You will find a sort of cocktail of history, myths and legends connected to the city of Brno. Feel safe meeting the dragon and the devil too, the video mapping transports you to the medieval times. You could participate in protecting the besieged Brno fighting against the Swedes in 1645. Visitors of all ages will admire the animations with impressive light and sound effects, videos are subtitled in English too.

This is a huge church, inside is simple. From outside you can see the big tower, beside the church there is the Governor Palace which is today part of the Moravian Gallery.
