- Jonathan W1 contributionI've visited a great many battlefields and this was one of the most enjoyable and memorable trips thanks to our splendidly knowledgeable tour guide Helena.
From the moment we met Helena (and Marco) at Brno Station she took a great deal of care and effort to make sure we visited all the important sites and included some we would never have known about without her local knowledge. Including a very pleasant lunch at a local brewery.
It's only an easy train journey from Prague. I would recommend to anyone interested in seeing more than Prague! The guide is in Czech, but no problem they give you a leaflet with perfect English translation and you can get a little bit of the intention, so it is well worth taking it. The part with the boat is fantastic. We also took the cable way up and down to the peak and it is wonderful. The restaurant on top very practical, reasonably priced and good like all the other places we have been to in the Czech Republic.
