At present Kostel Nejvetejsiiho Srdce Pane is in the centre of a building site as Namesti Jiriho Z Podebrad is being renovated but you can still see this church very clearly.
It's a modern church, constructed between 1929-1932 and built from designs from architect Jozef Plecnik ,its totally different from all the churches in Prague of which there are many, this is a more brutalist style of architecture ,the most defining feature of this church is the amazing clock tower ,it's such a unique and very photogenic church that's most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area and easy to locate on Namesti Jiriho Z Podebrad.

One of those buildings that has been refitted to look very modern inside while keeping the older outer shell- very clever.

Some rather expensive looking shops here that would be nice for a browse and a (normal price) supermarket in the basement where I bought a snack.

I needed the toilet and the very kind security guard unlocked them- not really sure why they were closed, but he was very thoughtful.

This is a great bar. Homely and friendly and the staff are lovely. Last week I arrived tired and thirsty with an aching knee from walking and they immediately made welcome. Within half an hour I felt like I'd known them much longer. Ollie the barman and his friends Hunza and the lovely Irish girl were lovely to me. I will be making this my first stop and a regular haunt next time I am in Prague.

Obviously when travelers are asked about Prague and a bridge is mentioned in the conversation, 99.999999% of the times the Charles bridge is the one that is being brought up in the discussion.
Now clearly that bridge is an iconic landmark of the city - but the Svatopluk Cech bridge is also beautiful - an arched bridge , built in the Art-Nouveau style between the years 1905 and 1908. The bridge is beautifully decorated with divers statues and it is for sure worth a visit - especially for those who are interested in architecture - especially architecture from the 20th century.
And if you are going for a cruise on the Vltava - the majority of trips start at the feet of this bridge - so for sure you'll be able to take a few pics.

We can only agree with the others reviewers - this gallery is an absolute must for anyone interested in minerals and fossils.

The collection of over 3,000 specimens is organised by regions or countries including Bohemia, Slovakia, Russia, Europe, Asia, North and South America, Australia and Africa.

We spent over three hours there in late May, and could easily have stayed longer. The staff spoke English and were very helpful.

Whilst there is a shop attached to the gallery, the prices appeared higher than those you find at mineral fairs.

National House Vinohrady is a great looking building located on Namesti Miru ( Peace Square ).
It's a grand looking building, I love Classical style architecture ,its so pleasing on the eye, this building is also home to two great restaurants, one called Brux and one called Parliament, this building is very photogenic and its most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the Vinohrady district and easy to locate on Namesti Miru.

Na Vinohradech Theatre is a great theatre on Namesti Miru that's always a joy to view.
A wonderful looking theatre building constructed between 1905-1907 ,its a building that certainly owes its looks to the Secession style of architecture so prevalent when the Austria- Hungarian Empire was at the height of its powers ,the facade looks amazing, atop the theatre building are two great looking statue's, one in honour of Truth and one in honour of Bravery, if you're in the Vinohrady district its a theatre building to most definitely check out and easy to locate on Namesti Miru.

Krymska is a street in the 10 district of the city that's in my opinion more or less like any other street in this area of the city, nice architecture, a smattering of pubs and cafe's, its just an endemic street that's worth a few minutes of your time if you're in the area.

I thank you for one of the best shows I have ever seen. I had goosebumps. I cried. I felt thirsty due to hot guys. The singers sang like on Broadway musical. Dancers had body like professional athletes. Costumes were breathing truly like Cirque du Soleil.

Our tour of the city was the most fun I've had in a long time! Kamil was a great tour guide and did a thorough job showing us all sections of Prague. Our car was very comfortable and, of course, beautiful! I must say, we attracted a lot of attention! I would highly recommend this tour.
