I took this running tour back in August 2019 with Andrew in order to have a glance of the most interesting places around the downtown of Prague. He picked me up at the entrance of my hotel early at 6.30am as I required and we took the tram to head the centre straightaway. Just looking at the record that I still keep in my device: the whole run was 10.5 km in 1h, but considering the go and return it more likely took us about 1h 15min.

For those who still think whether it is worth it, let me tell you that it totally is. On my route with Andrew we got to see Letna Park, the Castle, the sorroundings of the Strahov Monastery, Charles Bridge, Malá Strana and we ended up at Staré Město. Even though I was my 3rd day in Prague I still had the opportunity to discover places I had not seen yet, especially certain spots from which you are able to enjoy such breathtaking views of Prague.

Andrew is such a great guy, we had a nice talk about different stuff during the tour. He showed to be in fit while giving his explanations about Prague which were pretty accurate by the way. I asked him to take me some pictures as I did not carry my mobile phone with me and he also managed to get my return ticket at the Central train station since the vendor machine did not work properly.

    100% recommended!

Just a fantastic experience! My husband is an experienced runner and I run casually, and it was perfect for both of us. We did approximately 10k. During the most crowded time of the year, we basically had the city to ourselves as we ran through various neighborhoods and over the bridges. Just a fantastic thing to do on your first day to orient yourself. Radim was a great guide, sharing information as we ran and taking pictures that he then sent to us. 100% recommend.

Paula was a first class guide and running ally - our route committed to GPS encompassing the best of the city centre and suburbs along the Vitava River. I needed a 15 mile training run, the London marathon ten weeks away. I would have struggled to discover Prague’s choice of remoter paths and parks. This run was way more inspiring and enjoyable than I could have hoped. Paula led the way and I could focus on enjoying the sights with their own modern magic, contrasting with the spires. The snapshots of everyday life were the highlight. I discovered the training territory of Czech’s world class canoe team, practising along man-made rapids; varied bird life, families strolling, reclaimed industrial land and acres of space. My hotel is a not-insignificant seven minute pant above the Palace. Knowing a second breakfast would soon follow, the end was sweet! Definitely recommend this style of exploring this beautiful city. Don’t be put off by hills - Paula carefully planned around them. I really appreciated how the itinerary changed after the initial booking, to avoid soggy muddy trails. I would definitely plan another such run (shorter after marathon!) when I return to Prague. It’s a great way to soak up the best of this famed city before the crowds stir.

Great to get out of Prague and into the wild with this guided trail run; we had a beautiful day of sunshine as we ran through the hills, woodland, villages and fields of Central Bohemia between Radotin and Karlstejn. Thank-you Martin for such a great experience!
