- Captain_J_SpauldingMiami, FL334 contributionsI recently went on a multi-country European trip and used Daytrip for the first time after years of connecting by IC or express trains. I opted for them in this particular instance because 1) of their competitive rates in comparison with escalating European train costs, 2) spotty (and lengthy) connections between some Eastern European cities, 3) convenience in choosing my own preferred pick-up time time (and right at the hotel doorstep) and 4) a recent knee operation that gave me pause to wade in with the holiday crowds at the train stations, not to mention hefting bags up/down the narrow rail car steps as people rush to exit or board.
I wound up using the service a few more times than what I originally reserved and found that changing or adding trips was very easy. Vehicles ranged from regular everyday cars to even a high-end luxury transport. All were very clean and most usually had bottled water for our use also. There was great communication with the main site as well as the drivers who were always friendly, engaging and of course punctual. I make note of one in particular, Zoltan S., who was assigned to us on our last leg from Bratislava to Hungary, as Daytrip seemingly saved the best for last. We needed a pickup at a ridiculously early hour, having to make an emergency departure from the Budapest airport. He was there on time in Bratislava, was appraised of the situation and departed with us, noting that there would have to be some manipulation in order to avoid traffic. His driving was masterful: Always going the speed limit, using two navigational systems to avoid congestion and road closures that he knew about, and deftly being able to make our connection in a time that could not be bettered. It seemed to have been a small misunderstanding where we were supposed to be picked up, but the driver called us and solved the 'problem' really quick. We got help with our luggage from the friendly chauffeur, and at the car we were provided with both water, a tour guide book and a map. - Josef H4 contributionsThis is the fourth time I have used the service. The first two trips were nothing to complain about, after the third trip I wrote a very dissatisfied review.
When using the service again, everything was fine again. The taxi arrived on time (at 5 am, even 10 minutes early). The driver helped with loading and then unloading the luggage (and there was a lot of it for a family with 2 small children on the way to Australia). He was nice the whole time (according to my daughter-passenger).
It really seems that the bad experience during the trip in December 2024 was a matter of only 1 driver and not the company. From booking it with their office, Martin answered all my queries patiently and promptly. I had a lot of questions and concerns especially since we've never done this before. So, from Budapest -> Ljubjana -> Vienna -> Prague we used the services of MYEUROTAXI. Our favorite driver was Patrik, who was very accommodating, informative, pleasant and suggested great stops between destinations for meals. The vehicls were really comfortable and spacious. All drivers were very punctual and very helpful, with great positive attitudes.
Thank you very much, MYEUROTAXI. The first time he found the house that my great grandfather was born in and he went door to door looking for relatives who might be living in the area. This time he not only found where my grandmother was from but he went door to door once again and actually found some relatives! He speaks excellent English and so was a translator for us.
His car is beautiful and well appointed with comfortable seats that heat, cool and massage. He even has a foot massage! - Kerri H1 contributionWe had a great trip from Prague to Salzburg with a visit to Cesky Krumlov. The driver/tour guide Vera was so friendly and knowledgeable and we really enjoyed the walking tour of Cesky Krumlov that Vera gave us with lots of interesting facts and photo opportunities. Vera was a safe driver, picking us up on time from our hotel and the car was very comfortable. - Jmny DDunnellon, FL107 contributionsMy wife and I used Martin's for a transfer from Passau to Prague after our Danube river cruise and we so impressed we contacted them for a transfer from our Prague hotel to the airport the day of our departure. Both drivers drove new model Skoda vehicles which were spotless inside and out. The drivers were very professional and explained the length of time it would take for us to get where we were going almost to the minute. We were able to enjoy the beautiful scenery during the transfers without having to concentrate on driving and the cars were so much better than the big tourist buses and faster by far.
