Our transfer was excellent. Samir showed up on time, the car was nice, clean, and comfortable. He was knowledgeable of our stops and pointed out points of interest as we went. He had good suggestions for when we stopped and we had no issues with customs at the border. We would recommend him and use him again if we need. Without the funicular, it would be a moderately intense hike up to the top of Petrin Hill. There is a charge, but you can ride free if you have a subway Metro pass. It seemed to have been a small misunderstanding where we were supposed to be picked up, but the driver called us and solved the 'problem' really quick. We got help with our luggage from the friendly chauffeur, and at the car we were provided with both water, a tour guide book and a map. - Nigel SiviterStottesdon, UK84 contributionsThis company was a life saver for me, It was my first time in Prague and I had an appointment at an eye clinic with only an hour from my arrival time. This didn't leave me much time especially in a foreign country but thankfully my driver David was there for me and got me to my appointment with time to spare for a coffee. The most important thing for me was his help and knowledge of the city, he explained exactly where the nearest public transport was, how to use it and which tram to take to see the best site's of the city. I also appreciated the chat about which were the best beers. The return went just as smooth. Overall a great experience of an excellent service with the added extra of a really helpful and friendly driver who went the extra mile to make sure I had a stress free journey at a very good price. One needs to ensure that you buy the right ticket. Tickets are easy to buy at the machines the the bust /tram/metro stations. One can use cards to buy the same.
One must ensure that the tickets are validated at the time of use else you can be fined heavily by the ticket checkers. Tickets can be validated on board on your first journey.
One word of caution for the elderly travelers/people who are uncomfortable taking long escalators. In some stations, the escalator ride to the platform from the street is really long and scarry sometime due to the height. So if you are not the kind comfortable with such ride please look for the lifts. This is from my personal experience.

- Ginges_revengeBrisbane, Australia5,863 contributionsMustek station is part of an excellent metro system. The station is clean and tidy. It is a change over for Lines A and B. It is easy to navigate with plenty of good signage.
A lot of people also overlook the part of the old bridge which is located in the station. Have a look when you go by at a piece of the city's history.

On arrival driver Azamjon rang me whilst I was at passport control and told me to ring him when I got the bag. Waited about 5 to 10 mins and he arrived and helped my husband with the case and was extremely pleasant with some nice conversation. Very impressed. Return taxi arrived at our hotel promptly and driver Vladislav again helped us with our luggage and was very polite and pleasant to chat to he was very knowledgeable about Prague. He delivered us to the airport just opposite departures. - Ginges_revengeBrisbane, Australia5,863 contributionsBefore going to any country or place, we do a lot of research into what to see and how to get around. There is so much information online and lots of great "YouTubers" giving out good information as well.
It was easy to buy tickets and easy to validate the ticket. Ensure that you put them in a safe place so as not to lose them and avoid any potential fines.
Thanks to "The Honest Guide Youtube team" we got a 90 min ticket at the ticket machine outside Prague Havel Airport and used the local bus / metro and made it into Prague central in30 mins flat for about 2 euro each. It was so easy. We then purchased a 3 day travel pass and used this while out and about.
The system is so easy and safe to use. We only saw one ticket inspector in those three days. I recommend this public transport system as its one of the best around.
Just ensure that you do plenty of research before you go so as know the do's and don'ts before arriving into the city.
There was a good mix of old and new trams. Getting on an old one is cool as they are a tourist icon as well.

The way down was shorter because no waiting and the quick ride. - Wayne T3 contributionsAbsolute scam of the ticket system. Me and my family travelling Prague brought tickets to the tram number 15. When we purchased our tram tickets at the machine, we were given a “receipt” instead of a ticket at the machine. On the receipt it states to use as a reference. We were later then approached by two men aggressively demanding to show the ticket which i showed the receipt and they said no we need a “physical form”. I told them i purchased this at the machine and it says on the receipt to use as reference. They did not look like any government officials. They ignored and demanded 2000ck. I showed them my statement that i literally just paid and showed them my receipt which wasn’t good enough. All the locals literally sat there except for one lovely lady who tried to stick up for us. We were the only tourists on the tram at the time. I told them to call the police which they said would become a hassle and more problem. We went back and forward disputing as we knew deep down this wasn’t right. I was very disgusted and this had let Prague down for me. We enjoyed the site seeing and activities prior only later to be scammed like this. I later read this is common here.
