The Obecni Dum was the highlight of my recent visit to Prague. The guided tour showed us all sorts of interesting and beautiful details inside this stunning theatre. English-language tours are conducted regularly, but seldom, and we simply were lucky that we were there at the right time to join one after enjoying some cake in the cafe beforehand. I highly recommend touring the theatre, followed by a visit to the iMucha exhibition.

Attended an opera here this evening. Recently refurbished and refreshed, this building is gorgeous and an excellent site for opera performances.

The National Theatre is without a shadow of a doubt one of the most beautiful buildings in Prague, opened in 1881 ,this theatre is renowned for its opera, ballet and drama productions, to me it's just one of the most stunning theatre buildings I've ever seen ,walking over Legions Bridge ( Legii Most ) offers the best views ,great photographic opportunities, its easy to locate along Narodni and most definitely well worth checking out if you're planning a holiday to Prague.

The quintet and two singers were topnotch and I say this as someone who has subscribed to the Lyric Opera of Chicago since 1971. Dinner was ok. It was what I expected, but service was bad. They totally forgot about our first course until my husband left the table to find someone. We were served as they cleared other people's bowls. The couple at the next table ordered the unlimited wine. They went the entire main course without wine, had to find someone to get wine during dessert and it was a less than generous pour. Go for the music and save your money on drinks.

Beautiful building, it worth a stop by and couple a minutes of admiration. You can enjoy peacefully and have some photos as long as the place is not very crowded.

St. Francis of Assisi Church is located in the Prague Old Town, next to Charles Bridge.

When viewing this church from ther river the dominant feature of dome is obvious.

The present day church was built in Baroque style in 1679-1688.

It had replaced an earlier Gothic church, built in the 1250s-70s and was merely built on top of the original.

A nice chill evening in the theater for an hour. No czech language skills needed. The actors did well with effects, enjoyed it! Could be specially interesting for children. Recommend to come 15minutes before the start to get good seats in the middle.

The theater is surprisingly huge and beautiful. It's not as incredible as the National theatre but still very impressive. The theater is obvisouly taken care of and so are the plays. The actors are one of the best and most famous actors/singers in Czechia and they are all very talented in both acting and singing. The choreographies are all really good as well. The scenes are thought of and beautiful to look at - it was a shame we didn't sit closer to the stage to see everything in its detail. Music for the musicals is live and of a great quality - you can watch the orchestra play if you sit on the highest balcony. The seats are also very comfortable and have a great view but a couple of seats on the highest balcony (I don't know about the lower one), the ones in the first row on the sides of the balcony have a high railing in front of the seats and it gets in the view. The rest of the theater is less formal. There are two bars (we haven't tried them though) and you can buy cheap beautiful programme books and other memorabilia here. The halls are quite narrow for this amount of people though and there are lots of stairs. The foyer gets really crowded and you have to wait in a line to enter the theater, then again to get to the cloackroom - which is obligatory as it is the rule of the theatre to not bring any layers into the auditorium. Another long queue awaits if you decide to go to the bathrooms - the staff adviced us to use the toilets on another floor but the ones we found on our floor had no lightning and there were no switches to turn it on. Other than that it's an incredible theatre and the musicals are sold out. Tourists can go see a play here as well because the musicals are subtitled.

Abrakadabra show was not great. Silly interludes of magic were more annoying than helpful. Some dances nice, but no story there.

Im still not really sure how i feel about this one.

The actual theatre itself it stunning and there was a pianist playing while we waited to go in and to be honest i think that was my favourite part.

Maybe i just didn't get the concept but it was all a bit strange and parts extremely repetitive. I lost count of the amount of times the girl goes through a door with an apple. There were also horrible strobe lighting in 2 sections which i had to keep my eyes closed for as i was starting to feel a bit sick.

The best part was the very end where the cast did a little workshop with how some of it was done.
An interesting way to spend an evening but not something i would go to again.

This venue includes everything: pick-up from your hotel, welcome drink of honey wine, hearty meal, unlimited drinks, entertainment & drop-off afterwards. The driver picks up a full load of folks, so if you're the first pickup, as we were, you're in for 45min or so, of driving all around town. You're also waiting for ALL those folks after the show, before you can leave for your hotel. The venue is a bit chaotic & quite LOUD. We had less-than-stellar seating, with our backs angled more toward the stage, necessitating a twist to the side to see. The benches are REAL close to the tables, making it difficult to get in & out. The food was quite good, hearty, country fare. We had trouble getting beverages though. They come around every 2 minutes with beer, but if you're drinking soda you're lucky to get 2 glasses all night. The entertainment was unnecessarily loud, but enjoyable, if a little repetitive. Overall, we had a nice evening with these folks though.

Great club, great music, great atmosphere. Would come here again!

Have to watch out for one bouncer in particular though: bald, beard, wears a hoodie. He was unnecessarily physically violent towards young women on multiple separate occasions throughout the night.

Very cosy bar in Prague. Drinkable cocktails and good music. Sometimes it's full capacity, but it's worth coming here.

My husband and I found a leaflet for the Czech gardens in our hotel and decided to see if my family wanted to join us. As a party of seven we were picked up from the hotel and driven directly to the location where we were welcomed with a shot of medovina honey wine and shown to our table right next to the stage. The interior is beautiful and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious, especially the potato soup. We were treated to traditional Czech dancing, singing and a live band. The beer and wine were bottomless and we finished the night incredibly full and very happy. Our driver was waiting for us to take us back to my parents hotel when it had finished. It’s the most fun that we’ve had in a long time and I’d recommend it to anyone who is visiting Prague and are looking for something a little different.
