    Beautiful in the snow
    Last day of our ten day holiday in this most beautiful of city's ,had a great time in the run up to the Christmas period saw my twin brother Stephen and I crossing the wonderful Legion Bridge to the Mala Strana District ,we had a wander around the superb Shooters Island and what a very pleasant time we had .
    Shooters Island aka Strelecky Ostrov was covered in a thick blanket of snow ,the island looked superb and the views afforded from this island so cool ,the fabulous Vltava River ,the great architecture both sides of the river ,it's just a great island to check out if you're planning a holiday to Prague.

    Beautiful in the snow
    Walking over the famous Most Legii ( Legion Bridge ) I visited Strelecky Island for a but of a wander around ,late December ,Christmas festivities in full flow and the snow falling ,this little spit of land was a hive of activity ,a skating rink set up ,a cafe ,we enjoyed hot wines here ,it was lovely taking in the magnificent views of the Vltava River ,the famous bridges and the great architecture along each side of the river ,the snow made it special,everywhere looked amazing ,if you're planning a holiday to Prague it's a beautiful little island to check out .

    Beautiful island
    Walking over Legion Bridge ( Most Legii ) I decided to drop down onto Strelecky Ostrov ,a lovely spit of land in the River Vltava ,as we were here over the Christmas time the city was blanketed in snow ,looked so cool ,on the island they had set up an ice rink and there was a refreshment bar here ,we enjoyed hot wines as the snow fell and took in the great views of the Vltava River ,The famous bridges and the architecture both sides of the river ,if you're planning a holiday to Prague it's an island to most definitely check out.
