The senior lady who conducts the tour, Milenka, is the soul of the house. We came out of this experience very enriched thanks to her knowledge. The tour lasts 60 min and there is a video after about the renovation of the villa which we recommend as you will appreciate the restoration work in details. The girls at the ticket disk are extremely friendly and helpful.

A very interesting and entertaining museum. Beautifully set out in a very modern, non-stuffy style but above all VERY detailed. It helps if you have at least a vague idea of whom Emperor Charles or Karl IV was (he virtually created the Prague we see today - Charles Bridge, the castle) or an interest in medieval history.

We visited the new museum which connected to the old museum by an underground passageway which played a video of Prague's history. The natural history part of the museum is a little complicated to find but once you find it you are amazed.

We were there on the (too) hot summer day. There is Ethnographic Museum of the National Museum there. Nice staff, a small exposition. You are there away from tourists for a while. Unfortunately, it was so warm in the exposition halls, almost impossible to stay there for a moment. The surrounding - the Kinsky park is also worth to visit for a vieuw of the part of Prague, you can climb up to the Carpathian Ruthenian Church of the Saint Michael Archangel as well.
