An opportunity to understand the history of Prague, very moving. The staff were friendly and helpful when we asked to watch one of the short documentaries available.

This is a fantastic museum over 4 floors with so many displays and models explaining the countries involvement in the 2 World Wars and before. The building itself is magnificent and if you use the well stocked cafe on the 4th floor there are spectacular views over the city. The cafe is very good value for a drink and snack.
When we arrived we found the staff to be very friendly and helpful running through the suggested route for our tour, We feel that this deserves a second visit to catch the displays you missed the first time or look at their temporary exhibitions. There is no charge to enter this museum.

Such an interesting and informative tour of the bunker below the Jalta Hotel. Our guide Jacob was first class, adding humour and personal touches to the experience. Great value and the 90 minutes flew by. Highly recommended!

Excellent museum with a vast collection of planes from early pre war to late cold war along with plenty of helicopters. Really has everything you want to see. Staff were friendly and helpful even though there was a language barrier. Bit of an effort to get there as you have to take the metro and then a bus to get there if you're coming from inner city Prague. But well worth the visit if you have the time. There is also another part that has 2 hangers that are full and some mig 21s outside, this part is worth visiting as well although it is about a 10 minute walk down the road and we got lost on the way, luckily we managed to get directions from a czech soldier who saw us.

A beautiful original gate, located on the Republic Square, is one of the most important gates in Prague. It was constructed in 1475 of Gothic structure. 186 stairs in the spiral staircase to the top provides an awesome view over the city. It is a fantastic photo op. Don’t miss this attraction.

The Museum is located in two reconstructed hangars that have history with the Aero aviation construction company that was based there in the 1920s.

The Airplanes on display represent the history of Czech aviation during the first half of the 20th century with some representative aircraft from the Soviet era (Migs etc) through to today (L-39 aircraft).

In general, It's a small museum, and it seems that most of the focus has been on getting the museum up and going; therefore, I found the story line of the museum to be not fully developed. None-the-less, Dual language (CZ/EN) info panels were present for each of the aircraft and artifacts so you left with an idea of Czech Aviation through the 20th century.
