Worth a visit if you like model railways, which my husband does! My grandchildren would have liked this too. Enormous layouts, buttons to press and some teams to pretend to drive. Also I lost the scalextric race. Bit of fun on a rainy morning.

Unusual palace located in the Hradcany district of Prague. The current structure got its unique iconic sgraffito decoration in 1870–1874, based on the design of Josef Schulz. Since 1909, the building has housed various museums. The National Gallery Prague is the current owner.

We really liked the museum. It was fun, interactive, full of tasks that kids could fulfill. The only bad thing is that you can tell its already quite old and it could use some renovation but in the end it was nice.

The work displayed here is absolutely mind blowing! Words can’t describe how spectacular these works are. A caravan of camels within the eye of a needle?! A full train on a hair?! The works are phenomenal however the museum space was lackluster and a lot of questions went unanswered as much information was not in English (though this is my English speaking fault)

Some very strong and thought provoking Imagery. Dissipated that staff were unable to tell us much about the art work . Was a bit of a longer walk from the old town then we expected but was beautiful spring day so we enjoyed stretching our legs.

I definitely expected more from the reviews.
It's a decent size private collection of Lego, there's quite a few things to see and several interactive areas. But other than that there's not much to it. No information or history, and it's a lot smaller than I expected it to be.
Decent place to visit for a Lego fan, but not a must.

A compact museum currently focused on the Czech artist Kupka with one gallery room (out of about 8) showing sculptures by the Cubist sculptor Gutfreund. And of course there are the outdoor sculptures that include the Crawling Babies and the Penguins. We like Cubist art, so we found the collection interesting. The Kupka exhibits take you through the artist's transitions in style throughout his life. And the museum is in a very pleasant riverside park on the Mala Strana side of the river - easy walk from the Charles Bridge.

Beautiful small gallery in the Jewish Quarter. Came home with a gorgeous piece that will always remind me of the trip to Prague. Great service and an energetic gallery pup made for a wonderful experience.

In contrast to crowded Prague castle, the Sternberg Palace is an oasis of calm, as it doesn't feature on the tour guide circuit. In fact, you may have difficulty in finding it as it doesn't even feature on some tourist maps - yet it's just across the road from the Archbishop's Palace, with the entrance down an unlikely looking lane. Most of the art is fairly forgettable, but there are some gems - by Rembrandt, Durer and Dou. There's also a quirky little cafe that does light lunches. Altogether, it's well worth the effort to find the Palace.

Stayed here for a few nights whilst we attended a wedding. Good location but be prepared for walking or catching the tram to some of the big sights. Showers were warm and powerful. Bed OK, very firm but the pillows could do with being fluffier or have more options. As it was a top floor flat it was very warm and their air conditioning didn’t work in every room making some like green houses. Could do with more mirrors and plug sockets. Kitchen was OK and did have a dishwasher but could do with some more of the basics provided.

While in Prague we took in the marionette show. This art form does not exist in the US as far as I know and was lurking on my bucket list. The marionettes performed Don Giovanni in two acts. I believe this is their usual production. I studied the opera beforehand so I was able to follow the plot. Everything went as we expected except google maps had the theater on the wrong block, which caused us to do some hunting. It would have been a good idea to find it in daylight. Also, they did not allow a chance to take a photo of the marionettes in the theater. Finally, I guess we are spoiled by television and have, therefore, a short attention span. Towards the end it got a little tedious. All in all it was a worthwhile experience.

I am a lover of jewelry and precious stones so I have to come in. It is small but has many interesting pieces of a jewelry. The staff is very nice and incredibly helpful (speaks english fluently). I had no idea about differences between bohemian garnets and the other fake ones so I am glad that found out about it before buying something in other shops. The shop itself is magnificient, jewelry is beautiful, it is difficult to decide what to buy and you can buy a lot there. :)
