After visiting Prague Castle Christmas Market as the snow fell my twin brother Stephen and I descended down Zamecke Schody ,done this journey both ways dozens of times over the years and from experience it's better going down than up as it's quite steep ,walking down and trying to keep our feet on the ground ,how we didn't fall I don't know ,we stooped and took some photos of the statue in honour of Karel Hasler ,actor ,writer and singer who penned many folk songs about Prague including about these steps ( Up The Old Castle Steps ) .
The walk was fun ,on reaching the base we headed to the warmth of a pub to enjoy some beers ,it's a set of famous steps to most definitely check out if you're planning a holiday to Prague and planning on visiting Prague Castle.

Naplavka Rasinovo Nabrezi is a lovely walk along the riverbank of the Vltava River .
So much to see ,so much to take in and so much to enjoy ,the wonderful bridges ,the stunning architecture ,the boats that ply their trade along the Vltava River ,there's also plenty of cafés ,pubs ,bars and restaurants along the riverbank ,if you're planning a holiday to Prague it's a walk to most definitely take to see this beautiful city from the perspective of the riverbank.

This is a great place to exercise or relax. There are artworks scattered around the park, playgrounds, restaurants, everything you could want in a park in Prague.

The famous street of the old town Prague. you should at least take a walk here. In the street you will see cafes, bars/pubs, restaurants and shops, or you can have a traditional food Trdelnik. This street is like the roundup of the old town.

This park was featured on Honest Guide's videos. It's really easy to get. The whole walk takes around three hours on foot. There're some great playgrounds and picnic areas throughout the park. The scenery is really amazing. Don't forget to check the hidden lake and the little tunnel.

Having got up at 4.45am to travel to Prague and with no breakfast, by 1.30pm we were ready for lunch. Na Baste Gareden, just outside courtyard one of Prague Castle, was perfect. We sat outside to enjoy the sunshine and had Cab Drivers Goulash and Chicken breast with potatoes. Delicious. Bavarian cake with honey cream and nuts was a great dessert too. Very reasonably priced. Recommended.

Walking along Charles Bridge on a snowy December night my twin brother Stephen and I dropped down onto Kampa ,a cool little island that's home to a great Christmas market annually.
Kampa any time of the year is a great place to visit but during the Christmas time is magical ,home to several beautiful buildings and the intriguing Kampa Museum ,we enjoyed hot wines as the snow fell ,loved it ,had a great time ,stayed for an hour or so ,if you're planning a holiday to Prague it's most definitely well worth checking out .

Walking along the beautiful riverbank of the Vltava River is something I always look forward to doing on any holiday I take to this most beautiful of Bohemian City's and a walk along Nabrezi Ludvika Svobody is a must go destination for me .
The views from the riverbank are superb ,great architecture to view, this stretch of the riverbank gives unusual views of two great bridges namely Štefánikuv Most and of Hlávkuv Most ,there's also some great pubs and restaurants along this part of the riverbank ,all in all it's most definitely well worth checking out if you're planning a holiday to Prague.

Nothing special - just like every other place by the river in Prague. But that doesnt mean it's a bad place 😊
