I climbed the hill to get to the tower. It wasn't expensive (150 crowns/£5 I think). It's stairs only with two viewing levels. The views are great, as you would expect so definitely worthwhile.

Nice place to check ones you in Prague and see the city from a different view. On the way from the Old Town you can see the "newer" version of Prague.

A round tower, located at one side of Prague Castle, at the end of Golden Lane. It was used as a dungeon. There are not many to see, just a few instruments of torture. In 20 minutes you saw everything.

I have been to Kasarna Karlin various time with Friends and Colleagues. Its perfect for an after work beer, drinks and snack. Suggested also for the warm atmosphere and the possibility to watch movies at night

If you wander around Prague you will notice several water towers, Novomlynska Water Tower is one such beautiful tower ,this water tower once supplied the water to the Lower New Town area and looks awesome, for a small fee you can ascend the tower between 9am till 6pm Monday to Sunday were you have some great views of the Vltava River and the New Town area.
This tower is so easy to locate, jump tram 3 to stop Dlouha Trida ,tower is easy to locate on a street called Nove Mlyny its practically adjacent the beautiful Kostel Svateho Klimenta ( St Clements Church ).
Most definitely well worth checking out if your in the area.

A tight spiral staircase takes you to the observation deck. Views of surrounding countryside. Not as tall as you imagine.

Not far from Prague castle and it's collection of museums is this observation point. It's a good place to stop for a rest on the way up to the castle, or on the way down after visiting the aforementioned castle. Either way, this observation deck provides great views of Prague down below without having to pay for the privilege. The views are very good, though not outstanding, as it's more of a roof eyes view rather than a bird eyes view. Worth a stop if visiting the castle.
