West of the Vltava, you’ll find yourself in Mala Strana, a.k.a the Lesser Town. There’s so many GREATER things to do and see here, though…Petrin Park, Prague Castle, and St Vitus Cathedral to name a few. Strolling the historic streets could occupy you for hours on end. Don’t forget Vltava’s west while visiting Prague.

Hradcany is one of the old neighborhoods of Prague , and still today it has the architectural features of the old time ... historical buildings, palaces, churches, Strahov Monastery, hotels, pubs, restaurant, shops, all of these and more can be found in Hradcany.
The neighborhood is basically the area surrounding the Prague castle - although until the late 1700 is has a small town that was independent of Prague - and it became part of the city in the last years of the 1700's.
Walking the streets of this neighborhood can be very interesting, especially for those of you who are into history and architecture - but not only - it can be equally interesting for everybody who has a bit of interest in the Czech culture.
Overall a great place to walk and definitely worth the time spent here when in Prague - go for a walk in Hradcany.

Our hotel, Hilton Prague, was located in the New Town area which was great since we did a lot of walking from the hotel and we covered a lot of the New Town on foot. Very different feel versus the Old Town area of Prague.

I love nothing better than walking around the wonderful Jewish Quarter ( Josefov ) ,its a fun and vibrant area of the city, lots of great looking buildings, its nice to see that there's at least 6 synagogue's still surviving despite the atrocities that were committed here during World War Two and the destruction wrought on this city ,its full of great pubs, bars, cafe's and restaurants, its just an amazing area of the city to explore, if you're planning a holiday to Prague its most definitely well worth checking out.

I've been visiting Prague for 30 plus years, once a year, sometimes twice ,its a city I love and I still never get tired of visiting Stare Mesto ( Old Town ).
This is the big tourist magnet for this fascinating city and why not ,go onto Old Town Square ( Staromestske Namesti ) and just marvel at the amazing architecture all around you but then again every street in the Old Town is a joy to walk down with amazing buildings everywhere, befitting such a wonderful district of the city you have lots of great pubs, bars, cafe's and restaurants, its a busy, vibrant area ,if you're planning a holiday to Prague I highly recommend you check out Stare Mesto.

Krymska is a street in the 10 district of the city that's in my opinion more or less like any other street in this area of the city, nice architecture, a smattering of pubs and cafe's, its just an endemic street that's worth a few minutes of your time if you're in the area.
