We saw this building with our guide as we walked from the monastery to the castle. This is directly across from the Loreto, so you will more than likely see it. It is impressive in size and scale and it shines brightly in the morning sun.

Nothing too special but inside is a Free to see Novel revolving lift Just walk in & follow the sign down the corridors "staying quiet as people are working " you will find the novel lift like something you would see in a Harry Potter Film. Worth a visit won't cost you a thing

Visited on Thursday 12th October. What a majestic building which commands such an important place below Prague Castle and across the Vltava River from the Old Town. You also get to see it as you cruise along the river as well.

Just had to check out this building as we walked about Prague. Very colorful and very stately looking.

This is a hidden gem in plain view, located on the steep slope under the huge Prague Castle complex. A small entrance fee grants access to a number of terraces, some of which have benches for meditating or just taking a break from the madding crowd that is modern day Prague. The view from the top is wonderful, but this is not for people who have trouble with lots of steps.

We almost overlooked this museum just below the Prague Castle. In many ways, it is better than the castle. The exhibitions are well designed, the flow is better, and everything is available in English. These folks had everything, lost it all at the hands of the Nazis and then the communists, and worked to get much of it back. Fascinating history and plenty of treasures.
