    My twin brother and I were up in the wonderful Strahov Monastery Complex, after taking in all the wonderful sites up here we were in need of a cooling beer so we dropped into the Strahov Monastery Brewery, been here many times over the years, always had a good time and so it proved on our latest visit.
    I love the look of this brewpub, interior is superb, shiny beer brewing vats prominently on display, a great looking serving bar, lovely eclectic decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options spread throughout this brewpub both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and beautiful Strahov Monastery Complex, its just a great brewpub to unwind in.
    We were here on a Saturday afternoon, this brewpub was packed, we luckily managed to get a table were we ordered their dark beer ,these were served in excellent condition, we chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular brewpub.
    My beer was really good, dark,malty ,packed with flavour, very consistent from the first sip till the last sup, a classic dark Czech beer,its hardly surprising that this brewpub is so popular with beers served in this good a condition .
    We both really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to Strahov Monastery Brewery we had a great time.
    Strahov Monastery Brewery is easy to locate in the Strahov Monastery Complex.
    Opening hours are;
    Monday to Sunday, open from 10am.
    Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

    My twin brother and I decided to jump tram 22 from the Mala Strana ( Lesser Town ) district to the historic Brevnovsky Klaster ,a beautiful monastery founded in 993 ,within the monastery grounds are two great brewpubs Klasterni Senk and this superb brewpub.
    Brevnovsky Klasterni Pivovar Svateho Vojtecha looks superb, interior is wonderful, a great looking serving bar dominates the main room, rustic decor and furnishings including plenty of seating options spread throughout this brewpub both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and beautiful monastery grounds.
    We sat outside were we ordered a dark beer for me and a light beer for my brother, these were served in excellent condition, we chilled out and took in the great brewpub and location we were in.
    My beer was really good, dark,malty ,bursting with taste, very easy to drink, consistent from the first sip till the last sup, my brother also gave me a thumbs up for his beer .
    We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on to Klasterni Senk, the other brewpub in the monastery grounds and as on every other visit to Brevnovsky Klasterni Pivovar Svateho Vojtecha we had a great time.
    Brevnovsky Klasterni Pivovar Svateho Vojtecha is easy to locate in the Brevnovsky Klaster.
    Opening hours are;
    Monday to Friday, open from 10am.
    Saturday & Sunday, closed.
    Well worth checking out if you're in the area ( Praha 6 ) ,tram 22 to stop Marketska drops you off at the monastery.

    Service is really good and friendly but incredibly SLOW
    All other things - food is great, beer is AMAZING, my advice is 14 smoked. I don't drink beer and it was my bf who took me there but I was surprised and now I go there once in week or two when I'm crawling for a beer :3

    We took the metro from the centre to Andel and popped up at the bus station directly opposite the brewery. I've been on several brewery/distillery tours and the process is the same the world over but I like to go and appreciate the local brew as it's all about tasting at the end and gifts for friends,
    We got our tickets and were the only ones there until a French group turned up consisting of about 4 adults and at least 8 kids who ruined the whole experience. The four different rooms you are guided through by the audio/visual presentations light up when it is time to move on to. They didn't understand the information as it was presented in English for us and proceded to run amok throughout the different areas and their ignorant parents or guardians failed to control them. Why would anyone bring kids to a brewery tour?
    Anyway, the tour was quite good and I enjoyed the way in which it was presented. It would have been better if it had gone through the actual brewery itself but it gave a good representation of the process. We had opted to taste 4 beers at the end and the barman explained the different types we were given. I liked them all but my wife, who isn't a beer drinker, wasn't especially keen on the darkest beer so that was one extra for me :-)
    If you want to do something a little different from the usual sights and attractions then I would recommend it.

    The museum is not worth a visit, but with the price there’s included 4 beers, that are really nice. The place is cool
