Not a planned visit to this Museum noticed it in passing, looked intriguing and we were not disappointed the quality of the figures are exceptional, it is very immersive you can get into and climb over the exhibits. I would highly recommend this museum something totally different and fun.

This (the Veletrzni Palac) is easily the most under-rated and from the (many) times I've been there over the last 20 years, the most under-visited major art museum in Europe, probably because of its location outside Prague Old Town. The collection, and semi-permant display, following a re-hang, is modern and predominantly (as you would expect) Czech. This three-floor exhibition has been re-arranged superbly and, unless you have been before, you should expect art from the last 150 years that you have not seen previously. To really see what is in this building you need around six hours - I did it in three wet afternoons at roughly two hours per floor. Or you could do a whole day including coffees, lunch and a well-deserved pre-dinner drink in the modern and super popular cafe. Go! A tram stops close by or the Vltava metro stop is only a few minutes walk. A tip on the cost, you can buy a combined year long friends ticket which gives unlimited access and is excellent value, particularly if you want to do this site and others over a few days. Remember too, the mediaeval branch in Josefov, the fine arts one near the Castle, the temporary exhibitionat the Kinsky on Old Town Square and so on, all of which are worth a look.

With its main entrance on Namesti Republiky this shopping centre stretches back along Na Polici, but you wouldn’t know it was there as it is hidden in between all the shops along here and Truhlarska on the other side. Five floors that go from -2 to +2 and is a good mixture of clothes, shoes, household ware, bookshops and gift shops. No designer labels, no tourist tat, just proper shops that the locals want.
The top floor is a food hall with lots of different options and surprisingly lots of seating, which is usually the weakness of shopping centre food halls. Even I enjoyed it here, but primarily because when you visit at Christmas you can also experience the Czech passion for hanging things upside down.

More street food heaven than farmers market but well worth strolling along the banks of the Vltava river to visit here on Saturday mornings. Loved trying new food/snacks like Topinka and Kolaches from the small family stalls. Even though we were told to take cash most now seem to be taking contactless payments.

This seems to be a well-known market, although it seems to be more for tourists than for locals. We enjoyed walking around browsing a little, but the prices were very high, especially for the fruit (which did look delicious). We were happy to have spent a few minutes during our stroll through the town looking around.

The Chateau it self is from outside is free to visit. From inside for a 4 member Tamil is 450 CZK for us totally worth it. Our daughter (4 years old) loved the frescos. It takes 25-30 minutes to go around.

Amazing. Have been to almost all the Westfields in the world. This is the best by far. Clean, spacious, relaxing. So many shops for all the tastes and budgets. It has lockers at the basement where you can leave your jackets or bags. Politeness everywhere. Loved it!

Some very strong and thought provoking Imagery. Dissipated that staff were unable to tell us much about the art work . Was a bit of a longer walk from the old town then we expected but was beautiful spring day so we enjoyed stretching our legs.

Part of the Czech national galleries - the Schwarzenberg Palace - or Schwarzenberský Palác - is to be found in close vicinity of the Prague Castle - it is a few 100 meters away from the "Gate of the Titans".
It is a beautiful building - owned by the Schwarzenberg family for several centuries - the building is a mixture of architectural styles but what is most impressive is the exterior decoration with the black graffiti ... so it is definitely worth stopping and taking a few pictures of the building itself - should you not have the time to go in an visit the museum that is housed inside.
Still - it is a great building to check out - even if you are not into architecture - and/or arts it is definitely worth a few minutes of any travelers time to take a few pictures.

One of the many beautiful buildings that surround Staromestske Namesti (Old Town Square). Constructed in a rococo style, the building has a famous history and today it is the home of the National Art Gallery.

In contrast to crowded Prague castle, the Sternberg Palace is an oasis of calm, as it doesn't feature on the tour guide circuit. In fact, you may have difficulty in finding it as it doesn't even feature on some tourist maps - yet it's just across the road from the Archbishop's Palace, with the entrance down an unlikely looking lane. Most of the art is fairly forgettable, but there are some gems - by Rembrandt, Durer and Dou. There's also a quirky little cafe that does light lunches. Altogether, it's well worth the effort to find the Palace.

The museum was ok. The Warhol exhibition was interesting, and big compared to the other two. The Mucha-exhibition one was quite similar to the Mucha-museum. The Dali one was quite small. But would recommend for Warhol, even just for Warhol.

The Lumia Museum is a fun mix of art and technology, full of interactive light displays and digital exhibits that everyone can enjoy. You can explore light tunnels, motion-activated projections, and more, making it an exciting and unique experience.

The museum is easy to navigate, and the staff is friendly and helpful. One of the best parts is the light show, which feels magical and creative.

It’s a great place to visit whether you’re alone, with family, or just looking for something different to do.
