Learned all about Pilsner beers, sampled beer right out of the barrel. Went down into the tunnels. Learned the different pours and history of the beer.

The zoo looks nice and is well maintained and offers plenty of activities for small children. Definitely recommended for a day trip.

So much more interesting and educational then the Pilsner Urquell Brewery tour. This place provides tons of background on brewing beer with a large number of artifacts. Everything in English also.

The landmark of the square also thanks to 103 m high tower which you can climb when open It should be open from 10:00 to 18:30 every day, unfortunately it was for some unknown reason on Staruday at 13:00. Also the cathedral was closed but it was possible to admire the beauty from bar door. The cathedral has been recently renovated.

from the reviews it wasn't clear if this museum would be enjoyable for adults. we enjoyed every minute and we took our time reading all the explanations (in english) on the displays. some of the staff spoke english but not all. they explained about the exhibits. there are a few wooden dolls for sale.

Me and my family came here whilst staying with the in laws in Prague and absolutely loved it, my 2.5 year old son loves dinosaurs. Amazing day out and it is a full day out, with food facilities, toilets, animated dinosaurs moving, a zoo also which is great also.
A great price at about £10 each. It is a massive park to walk round. Would definately return.

Brighter building facing the square and church. Looks like a classic old town house from a few hundred years ago but stand out

The landmark of Pilsen, with iconic cathedral with 103m high tower, unique fountains designed by the architect Obdřej Císler and sculptures of the popular fairy-tale puppet couple Spejbla and Hurvínek. The beautiful Renaissance town hall is also worth mentioning and a stoping to admire the work of the Italian builder Giovanni de Statio.

Historical artefacts about the struggle coming from the Czech Resistance and how they overcome the odds to liberate the Plzen city with the assistance of the US Armor Forces. (the 16th Armored Division and elements of the 97th and 2nd Infantry Divisions liberated Pilsen)

Simple and yet fascinating appealing attraction if you are a WW2 Fan. Don't missed it. It is just located behind the mall - Plzen Plaza.

We found this place by an accident. It is in the city centre, a building full of snakes, spaders, turtles, etc. If you like this type of animals, it is a perfect place to visit. It is quite small, 20-30 mins was enough to see everything.

A thoroughly enjoyable collection of Czech glass and ceramics in a beautifully restored building. There is much to see for a one floor exhibit, although too much about old locks and keys perhaps. Along with Czech arts there are German Meissen and French Sevres porcelain pieces… and some ancient Greek, Italian, and Asian wares. I spent more time here than any other museum in Pilsen. Note that the Museum of West Bohemia is several distinct collections in the same location, of which Applied Arts and Crafts (umělecké řemeslo) is just one. It occupies the third floor of the building and the ticket was 80 Czech Koruna when I visited.
