    A Magnificent Country Home
    As this beautiful Stately Home not far from Kutna Hora ( less than 39-min-drive)we went there having visited the Cemetery Bone Church and the. Assumption Cathedral.
    No parking charges so went straight to see the Castle. There are different tours at certain times ( check website prior to your visit)we chose the servants quarters and to see the rooms. No guided tour in English but for the stately rooms there’s an English language booklet. The tours took about half an hour, between them you can explore the herbaceous garden and the park which is a very English style one.
    Well worth a visit.

    Excellent views
    If you walk by Vlassky dvur don't forget to visit the gardens on its side. The views of the cathedral and former Jesuit convent are wonderful.

    Romantic ruins of castle Sion
    Visited June 2017 when going around. This place is famous in the Czech history - it is connected to Hussitism era. In the past there was a castle, now you can see the ruins but obviously, under good care. You can see here number of informational panels, unfortunately just in the Czech language. You can reach this place easily by car from Kutná Hora - just a few kilometers, or by walk-trip. The entrance is free, located in the forest but not far from parking place. Beautiful place for trip with children, school groups etc.
