Cesky Krumlov is a must see on a visit to the Czech Republic. Absolutely beautiful medieval town. The only downside was that our tour guide was monosyllabic and uninspiring. Fortunately the castle guide was fantastic. Thoroughly recommend taking thr time to visit

We took the tour with Michal.
Right from the start we were happy
His Mercedes Van was in meticulous condition.
He was very friendly and in a very good mood.
Michal was very personable and very knowledgeable as he educated us throughout the trip.
He had wonderful insights at the Castle and throughout the trip.
He picked a great spot for lunch in the town of Cesky Krumlov.
We also visited Budvar and a Chateau on the way back to Prague.
He was proactive in making sure we were comfortable and having a good time.
    Could not have been better.

An excellent tour. Stepan knows the history of the town, the castle, and its place in history inside and out. He has lived there all his life, so he can tell you the details of what everyday life is like as well as the larger historical context. He’s flexible, too, so if you get interested in something along the way like local mushrooms and waterfowl, he can roll with it. The long, personalized tour is worth every penny.

Excellent tour with very knowledgeable and helpful Jan, whose knowledge of history and local events brought to life the relaxed 2 hour walking tour of all the highlights.

We loved this excursion. Beautiful drive and town. Our driver/guide, Petr, was amazing. He was so knowledgeable and interesting. He was very considerate that we had multiple generations in our family and adjusted his pace to suit everyone.

My husband and I had a fabulous tour with Lenka Zelena as our guide. Lenka was so knowledgable about the history and town. She was very adaptable and structured our tour according to our needs. She guided us through the less crowded streets. We visited several unique local shops. We had a great meal at her recommended restaurant, by far, the best food throughout our trip. The tour with Lenka was definitely major highlight of our three week trip. We would highly recommend Lenka and the Personal Prague Guide company.

Amazing tour, absolutely worth your time! The guide Lucie is a very knowledgeable local to ÄŚeskĂ˝ Krumlov, and was happy to answer our many questions. Her English is impeccable, and the selection of activities during the day took us all over the town. The tour was key to us having a wonderful time in the city, as Lucie gave us so much information about the town's history, variety of architectures, and culture that we continued to notice things even after the tour ended. The lunch was delicious classic Czech fare, and Lucie had plenty of excellent recommendations on food and additional activities to seek out.

What an amazing tour, Ezster’s knowledge and historic recount of the centuries of life in this stunning town were just amazing and we have left much better informed than when we started and grateful for such a special experience. Thank you Ezster, just brilliant.

My family spent the day with Michal, traveling from Prague to Czesky Krumlov, and then to Salzberg. The drive between each location was a couple of hours — and we had no problem filling the time with interesting conversation about the Czech history, the wild 90s after communism fell, and his favorite Prague historic sites. Czesky Krumlov was beautiful—and Michal shared historic stories and details about the castle, its grounds and the surrounding town. He took us to lunch along the river at a former Medieval home turned restaurant. He even stopped at a bakery on the way out of town so that we could compare kolaches, a native Czech treat we also eat at home in Texas. His van was impeccably clean and comfortable.

This is a perfect day trip from Prague. The drive takes about two hours but the city is worth the visit. The city has a castle and an English speaking tour of this is included and provides a lot of insight into what living in a place like this might have been like. The town has amazing architecture and lots of shops for antiques and souvenirs. The views of the town and river are a spectacular vision of the medieval past. The tour allows for time to have lunch and the guide recommended an outstanding restaurant by the river, although there are many to choose from. A great wussy to get out of the Prague crowds, see the country and learn a lot about the history of Bohemia.

Met Eszter at 1700 at the main square & we were given a fantastic tour of the old town, covering topics such as the local noble families who built & occupied the castle, a brief history of the city itself, and the local landmarks. Eszter is an awesome guide, knowledgeable & funny, so a genuinely entertaining woman. We try to book yours the day we arrive to get our bearings & this really helped us out.
    Money & time well spent!!
