This tour is a must see when going to Prague, beautiful views, a lot of amazing history, and we even got to see the bears that live on property. - Operama20184 contributionsAmazing place to visit, really enjoyed walking around the beautiful town. Our guide was very enthusiastic and took good care of us, the only down side was that he was difficult to understand especially on the bus as this was very noisy.
The bus itself was the only disappointment. It was not comfortable for the passengers seated in the single seats, particularly the taller guests as there was very little leg room. The only downside was that our tour guide was monosyllabic and uninspiring. Fortunately the castle guide was fantastic. Right from the start we were happy
His Mercedes Van was in meticulous condition.
He was very friendly and in a very good mood.
Michal was very personable and very knowledgeable as he educated us throughout the trip.
He had wonderful insights at the Castle and throughout the trip.
He picked a great spot for lunch in the town of Cesky Krumlov.
We also visited Budvar and a Chateau on the way back to Prague.
He was proactive in making sure we were comfortable and having a good time.

Restaurants were ok, nothing to write home about and some nice souvenir shopping places. The guide, Daniel, was great, and he picked us up at our hotel, gave us a guided tour, we had some time on our own, before returning us to our hotel in Prague. Daniel was well informed and provided helpful information, and we got along well. He gave us enough time on our own to explore the gorgeous town and to have time to go out for lunch at a restaurant by the river. Cesky Krumlov is really special, and we have no hesitation recommending this destination, and highly recommending this tour group as well as our guide for the day. The places we stopped were scenic - great photo ops! She was very adaptable and structured our tour according to our needs. She guided us through the less crowded streets. We visited several unique local shops. We had a great meal at her recommended restaurant, by far, the best food throughout our trip. The tour with Lenka was definitely major highlight of our three week trip. - Shawn LHillsboro, OR20 contributionsOur tour guide was Anna. She was great. She did have a pretty heavy accent, so we had to listen very carefully.
They picked us up at our hotel near Mala Strana and drove us over to Wenceslas Square. We then transferred to a large van (mid-sized bus), which held ~20 people. It was comfortable. It took us a good 3+ hours to get to Cesky Krumlov, primarily due to back traffic. Anna spoke nearly the entire way and then lead us around the city for ~20 minutes, then gave us ~2 hours of free time. We met at the town center at ~3:15pm and Anna took us to the Castle for a tour. We then caught the bus back at 5:30pm and got back at ~8:00pm.
We paid $100 per person but, if I had to do it again, I would have rather just caught a bus from Prague's main station on gone on our own for ~$18 per person round trip. But we're pretty self-sufficent and can read history on our phones. The guide Lucie is a very knowledgeable local to ÄŚeskĂ˝ Krumlov, and was happy to answer our many questions. Her English is impeccable, and the selection of activities during the day took us all over the town. The tour was key to us having a wonderful time in the city, as Lucie gave us so much information about the town's history, variety of architectures, and culture that we continued to notice things even after the tour ended.
