Perfect day in marvellous place, long pathways, everything clean, many WCs and fastfood, interesting animals, nice castle in the middle of the ZOO, interesting tour inside the castle and also interesting programme...
Park has plenty of refreshment stalls and cafeterias for those who grow hungry (especially small children) after taking their multi-hour stroll through this magnificent ZOO park.
Easy to follow red trail markings to get up to see arch, enjoy a drink/food, up to top look out, then the longer walk down where you then take 2 boats through gorges and walk back to car.
The view from the top is breathtaking, especially when rocks and trees are slightly covered with snow (when we reached the pick spots, it started snowing).

Just splendid works of nature, tall rocky cliffs, spires and towers, some incredibly shaped, some with trees on tops.
We were tired but very happy :) You should bring some warm clothes with you in summer time too, it was very hot day, but in some places in the park was a little bit cold :) Bring water and some snacks with you.

Huge areal with small church, chateau, lakes, fatewalls, river and most importatnt bohanical collection of domestic and exotic flowers and trees.
This is a beautiful area of Moravia and favorite spot for bikers, hikers, families with small children and even pensioners like us.

Doing this nature walk is an easy, almost all accessible way to get away from the spa towns.
There were people swimming in the larger of the lakes and we wished we had brought our swimming costumes along!

The usual stalactites and stalagmites but with a long and fun underground boat ride plus ... the big reveal, you emerge from a cave into Massive opening that is simply breath taking.
Caves are unique because you can see bottom of Macocha abyss and also take a cruise on Punkva river (inside cave).

It is filled with beautiful and interesting plants... gorgeous orchids, stunning gingers and exotic lilies... and what a great collections of cactus!
The surrounding area had a lot of road maintenance going on and was difficult to find a close place to park due to the detours and one way streets but we only had a 5 minute walk to get there once we found a spot.

The main park slopes gently down from the colonnade and so it is a walk UP a slight incline to get to the buildings, but it is quite easy if you are a senior citizen.
Interesting to see from the bottom during the Punkva caves tour, but the best, jaw dropping view is from the top.
The tram is 100czk both ways and well worth it because you’ll be doing walking in the cave itself as well.

Dolni Morava
It is beautiful during each season (autumn: colourful, winter: white beauty, spring: blossoming green fields, summer: green views).
Adds on : mushrooms and blueberries everywhere:) The skywalk is really spacious and the view ... unforgettable!
The aviary is charming, the gardens are beautifully manicured and truly splendid, the views are magnificent, and the various seasonal colours are spectacular, especially the deep reds, oranges and golds of autumn.

There were lots of feeds, talks and displays for visitors to attend throughout the day.
The collection is good, especially with regards to small cat species.
Apart from big ticket species like lions, rhinos etc, this zoo has an amazing collection of small rodent, mongoose and lemur species.
There lots of big nice enclosure for the animals like lions, giraffe, monkeys or nice Filipina exhibit with butterflies.

The nature reserve itself it´s fairly short walk and the museum is full of taxidermy mounts (stuffed animals), so you might want to avoid it.
... Renaissance Italian garden and baroque Classicist French garden art ... a rotunda with a Foucault pendulum, a 244 m long colonnade with an accessible gallery, large greenhouses, mazes, flower beds ... Is it all?
We visited the park in chilling autumn rain, with much of the foliage (leaves) already gone, but even so you could appreciate the beauty of this magnificient garden.
I just would like to say a big Thank you to all people, who takes care of the nature and make sure our kids have a chance to see, learn and dont grow up as ignorants.
Once on the boardwalk you can take your time walking looking for wolves down below or you can sit on the wooden benches provided everywhere and read info about wolves on display boards.
Great place for families to hang out and perfect for children as there are heaps of playgrounds there.
It has a nice broad, well organized collection of animals.and is neatly tidy.

Safari Park Dvur Kralove

Dvur Kralove nad Labem
Modern buildings and open-air area where animals feel free, snacks on every corner, small celebrations during the year / Halloween, children's day, holiday, family day, guided tours /, we really felt very good here.
Throughout the park, there are many play areas for kids and, near the Safari Park entrance, there is a fantastic adventure playground over several levels involving all kinds of rope walkways and climbing frames.
