Barmen are knowledgable on Pisco, friendly and ensure you have a great time! Discover Pisco - the whiskey equivalent of South America ...really worth it.

After completing a free walking tour (12:30pm San Francisco Plaza) I ended up at Quochamama for a Pisco Sour taster session, this turned into a few more Pisco Sours as the bartender and owner was a perfect host. I would recommend a visit to this secluded downtown city centre bar if visiting Arequipa 👍. The view of the surrounding mountains and Volcanos is also brilliant from their balcony

This is a popular hang out bar - for locals and tourists.
On Wednesday and Thursday nights there are free dance lessons which are fun and a good introduction to salsa, also a good opportunity to meet people and practice Spanish.
The drinks are definitely tourist prices s/12 for a small local beer, but the music is good.
There is a terrace which plays electronic music and the dance floor on the ground floor offers the usual reggaeton and Latin music.
