He is extremely friendly and makes you feel like family, if you need taxi service in Banos, Fredy is the BEST choice!
Additionally, we made a couple stops just for photos, and his amazing photography's skills and fish eye lens made for great pictures to send to our friends and family!

We are a Belgian family of 4 and we went canoying level 3. Alex & Angel, our two guides, gave us a great experience of 2u30 canoying with afterwards a freshly baked fish in a restaurant nearby.
Took a trip to banos with my two kids and had a great time!

As you are walking into the park - which does have a nominal entrance fee (I think it was $2 for adults and $1 for kids) - you hit the beautiful Rio Verde and waterfall right away.

Astonishing views with plenty set up to exploit them, a small bar/cafe, play areas for the kids and of course the infinity swing or swing off the edge of the world (3 of them).
We loved hanging out with multi generational Ecuadorian families on vacation (apparently families from Guayaquil on spring break).

Lot's of abuelos with devoted children just taking in the heat and the minerals.
Enjoy the baths with the locals who go with their families at this time.
