Stopped here with our driver. You need to pay to enter and to wear a sarong.
Inside is very beautiful however with so much here there is no signage to explain what you are actually looking at!
Took some lovely photos however which I could have learnt something too.
Clearly still used by the local community.

Our group participated in lunch. The women of the home prepared a traditional Balinese meal and we were invited to sit as we felt comfortable and partake in the meal. The children danced and the grandfather of the house performed a traditional song. This home has been in seven generations of this family and three of these are currently living within the compound. The grandfather also shared with us about the woodcarvers and we got to visit the wood carving showroom. The artistry contained there was awesome. I love being able to experience authentic music and culture. We also toured the property including seeing the rice paddy.

We were given, for a small fee, a sarong to wear to visit this temple. The temple is so detailed and beautiful. We visited on a very hot day. We would have spent more time if not for the heat.

We have passed by this large statue a number of times over the years and finally convinced a driver to park up so that we could view and take a few photos. Very busy intersection but our driver herded us safely across the road. The statue had been newly attired in preparation for the Hindu festival of Galungan. It stands over two metres in height, weather beaten, but located at a point considered sacred by the locals since 1989. It is named Sang Hyang Brahma Lelare, a representative of the Hindu god, Shiva, and represents new beginnings.

My family was in Bali just two weeks ago and we did the Pure Ubud tour offered by the travel app, Klook. One of our destinations was Kampung Kopi Kemenuh, which allows curious visitors to see the sleeping civet cats (they’re more active at night) that eat coffee beans straight from the plants they grow from. The excreted beans have a distinct flavour, which surprisingly makes the finished product more expensive. There is an employee who will tour visitors around and give insights about the civet cats, coffee beans and coffee. They also offer taste tests for the different teas and coffee that they sell at their souvenir shop. The taste tests don’t include the luwak coffee though because you have to order it at around $6 per cup. Kampung Kopi Kemenuh is very educational, and a must-visit because coffee is one of Bali’s major products. As for the civet or luwak coffee as it is called locally, I find it very expensive yet the taste is not much different from other coffee bean varieties. Tourists can just buy a cup and taste it for the experience.

Wow, did not wxpect this when our tour guide suggested a visit to the tree house. For only a couple of dollars house of fun and energetic walking, or climbing should I say, can behad for the whole family. The rope bridges and stairs are a little tricky so not for the faint hearted or not too good on your legs! We loved it and wished we had more time. Kids would cope very well and there are animals for them to see also. Fun few hours.

Our taxi driver for the day stopped at this location on the way to Ubud. We were given a short tour through all the different plants grown and then past a caged sleeping Asian palm civet which eats and then defecates the coffee beans used to make the expensive Kopi luwak. The tour lady said it was let out at night but we wondered how they could then collect the partially digested beans if it was free to wander. We sat and sampled a selection of free coffees ( 13) and read the accompanying notes about the different remedies they provide plus had a pleasant chat with our tour lady. If you sample the Luwak coffee there is a small charge. You are then given the option of buying any of the coffees. Our favourite was the brightly coloured Mangosteen.
Although situated among rice fields the small sales shop does accept credit cards. Overall we felt the visit was a worthwhile way to spend about an hour,

Visiting this small plantation was a pleasant experience. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly. The Luwak was asleep (they are nocturnal) but close enough to see.
A short tour was followed by tea and coffee tasting - 10 different varieties.
Tasting Luwak coffee was an extra IDR50,000.
At the end of the tour there was an opportunity to buy various kinds of tea and coffee Credit cards accepted). The ordinary coffee was expensive, but the Luwak coffee was actually a bit cheaper than you would pay in Duty Free or the larger markets.

Only went the second time so other family members could experience the Lewak Coffee. My wife purchased Ginseng Coffee and Vanilla coffee at $20 each, not worth it for mostly sugar and only enough for 4-5 cups. The Ginseng coffee tasted burnt, so threw it out don't waste your money. You can buy these coffee's in the local supermarket for half the price.
The tour of the production is worth one visit, and interesting. Won't be going again.
