As a local my family and I have tried many agencies for rafting, but after finding antu we could never separate from Joaquin and his team. They are very prepared, unlike other agencies the wetsuits are washed an dry, have tons of experience, are experts in safety and enjoyment for adults and kids. Would 100% recommend for every single adventure.

Ps: they take great pictures too!

On a summit in Argentina we met a guy that recommended one of the guides with Politur - Eduardo - to us. When we made it to Pucon, we booked a trip with the agency to climb the volcano and had THE MOST AMAZING experience! We were provided with all the necessary equipment (hiking boots, helmet, glasses, protection for our clothes for the descent, hiking sticks, ice pick etc.) and were chauffeured to the base camp of the volcano and back. The guides speak English very well, they are extremely experienced and so much fun to be around on top of it! The hike up was the experience of a lifetime already and then came the descend - which you do sliding, not hiking! I haven’t had this much fun since I was 10. After making it back to the agency, we had beer and a chat with the entire group and basically spend the whole evening together. It was one of the most perfect days of my entire life. I cannot stress enough how much I recommend Politur 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

The waterfall is 100m tall and is located inside a forest which makes for an amazing view. Amparo and Brandon were truly awesome and professional. They explained everything patiently and clearly, and we're great fun in general. Overall it was a very nice experience, not physically demanding at all, but very rewarding. Would defenatly recommend it to everyone that finds its way to Pucón!

Brilliant experience from start to finish. We felt safe with our guide Rodrigo, who was super friendly and knowledgeable, and also spoke excellent English. We were only in town for a couple of days and they went out of their way to give us a great experience even though most of the rivers were closed. We had the best time. Thank you to the whole team. Definitely the best experience we've had so far in Chile.

We Stayed at the Palguin lodge self catered accommodation 20 minutes from Pucón, it was the perfect balance of being in the middle of nowhere and just outside of town. It had amazing views of the valley and beautiful walks by the river.

This is definitely a well kept secret and worth asking about when booking as it isn’t on the website yet! We also had a couple of guided trips and a double kayak trip with these guys, all of it was excellent!

The lodge was perfect for two of us for a few weeks and loads of kit. With less stuff it would happily accommodate a family of 4/5.

Huge thanks to Judith for all her help and recommendations with kayak Chile and other things.

    It was an unforgettable experience.
    Thanks!

Awesome ! Great option for solo travellers and for groups. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. It is one of the only travel agencies open during the low season. Would use them again and again.

My wife (41) and daughter (12) went up, up and up in the air and I enjoyed seeing them (from the boat filming) while they were laughing and crying out loud it was the best thing they'd ever done. Next time it will be me and my younger daughter (7). Kevin (skipper) and crew were amazingly kind and helped us taking some photos while my hands were all over the video cam. Trust me on this one: it is something you have to do in Pucon !!

Went on a 1/2 day fishing trip with Paul, one of the guides. Paul is a very nice guy and experienced guide and talks English as well. The trip was great. The river and surroundings were beautiful and we caught a few fish (even though we didn't had any experience with fishing. Highly recommended.

We would definetly recommend doing the Vulcano Tour, especially with this agency.

Epic Volcano Adventure! I spent a fantastic day ski mountaineering on volcano Quetrupillán with Point South.

Having done most of my skiing in the Alps, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I definitely wasn’t expecting an active volcano to change my plans but an amber alert forced a change of my plan to climb Villarrica. Gonzalo met with me to discuss and plan an alternative adventure. There were several alternatives to choose from and he was very flexible to my aims and happy to discuss the options so I could have the most amazing day of my trip. We decided Quetrupillán should be the objective and I was not disappointed!

Gonzalo drove myself and Uber (my guide for the day) to the base of the volcano at 5am so we could ski through the forest as the sun came up. We reached the top of the trees and were rewarded with glorious views. Being ahead of other groups ascending that day, we had the whole mountain to ourselves for our second breakfast! Fuelled by sunshine and chocolate, we headed on up the slopes which were now gradually increasing in steepness. The wind picked up and made the last few hundred metres of ascent quite exciting as I attempted to balance in the strong breeze! The summit afforded great views of the other volcanoes in the area and the isolation was amazing, we were all alone as we put on warm layers and removed the skins from our skis.

The descent was fabulous, by now the snow had thawed and become lovely powder as we made fresh tracks down the side of the volcano. The terrain was varied with steep wide slopes, gullies and the forest to contend with!

Seven and a half hours later, we were back in the lower forest, picking our way between the trees and heading for the car and a much needed beer!

Point South made this adventure so much more than just a day in the hills, Gonzalo’s planning was excellent, he remained in touch with us by radio through the day and was waiting with beer and snacks at the end. Uber was a great guide and knew just how much to challenge me without pushing me into situations I wasn’t ready for!

I may not have summitted my original objective but I think this adventure was even better! The remoteness and solitude of Quetrupillán has grabbed my attention and I will return for more off-piste volcano adventures with Point South soon!

Thank you Gonzalo and Uber for an amazing experience. I highly recommend Point South for ski mountaineering in Pucón!

I had never been paddle boarding before, and the instructors were very patient and helped me understand how to use the equipment and balance on the board. They made sure no one was left behind and that everyone was comfortable.

They are also very knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna; we went on a hike in a national park, where we learned a lot about the biodiversity of the region and park. I highly recommend these folks if you're looking for outdoor activities in the area.
