It's all extremely well laid out [in a lovely old church] and there are some fascinating insights into life in the past in Alnwick - some wonderful old photos too.
On this most recent visit we attended a concert by the Alnwick Symphonic Wind Ensemble which was lovely and it was so good to listen to the music in the welcoming exhibition space.

It's also well worth visiting the beach, but best to drive to Lower Hauxley car park, where there are amazing views of the sea and Coquet island.
It's free, they only ask for £2 parking donation as they want to make nature accessible but I think a visit is worth more than £2 as it's brilliant, we saw loads and the volunteers were really helpful.
