Tamborine Mountain. The green behind the gold. Only 40 minutes drive from Queensland's Gold Coast beaches. Hang Glider Lookout is awesome. Tree House Cafe has the best breakfasts/brunch I've had for a while.

Always busy but everything nice and handy - swim between the flags, only when lifesavers are on duty

The premier place to shop on the GC. Beautiful centre With all the shopping you can ask for from Designer to budget friendly, department stores, amazing food and restaurants on offer as well as grocery stores, cinema, the list goes on. As a local, when I want a day out shopping, there’s no where else I’d choose to go, including Brisbane.

Visited on Thursday 17th June. One of the must see things to do when you visit the southern end of Gold Coast. You get great view up and down the coast from there.

Overall it's not too bad for a theme park. It's expensive to get in and it's an all day event if you want to see all the shows etc.

If you miss a show, they really only have one on that day, so you miss out.

Some of the rides are closed at the moment but will be open again for school holidays

Foods expensive but it's a theme park, you expect it. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

The dolphins were the highlight with some interesting and entertaining exhibits and shows to fill the day

Go for the actors in character.
The shops and food options are really good. We spent a lot of time exploring them all. I can’t remember the last time I saw a loaded potato shop, so that was a nice thing.
A lot of rides were under maintenance, which caused a bigger problem, the queues were generally 30 minute wait time, during the off season.
But really, the actors walking around and saying hello and interacting with us made the trip memorable.
My five year old son is now obsessed with cat woman, after his close encounter.
Harley Quinn and the Joker knocked us away with their accents, banter and general fun. Dorothy was so kind and sweet, sticking to character.
The actors were really generous with their time and chatting to us.
Big thank you to the entire crew.

This is a nice change from the theme parks - a natural wilderness track that runs from the entrance at Sea World down to the channel between the Southport Spit and South Stradbroke Island. You can walk along the paved Sea World drive and come back along the Federation Walk track as we did or take the track and then the beach with its long sand pumping jetty instead. (There appeared to be lifesaving patrols for some of it). There are sea views along the way from Sea World drive and, of course, the beach with the bush track giving dune views along the track. We saw bush turkeys along the way.

The Seaway Kiosk and Jetty is a nice coffee stop. Walking to the end of the Spit where the water is pouring in the channel with the ocean splashing against the rocks was a really worthwhile experience. We learnt that in the 1890s the sea broke through South Stradbroke Island here and created this channel. It was quite wild the day we went.

Visited on Wednesday 16th June. We usually stop here to check out the beach and views back to Surfers Paradise. This time we went for a walk to the rocky outcrop. There were plenty of surfers enjoying the waves.

We stayed opposite the beach and swam every day in May. The water was 23 degrees and with sand banks in front we felt safe swimming. With goggles on we saw many fish swimming around. Clean water

Sitting at the tavern, lovely cold beer, great water views and also a great place for people watching. Several great spots to eat or just have a coffee. Lots of free parking and plenty of shopping potential at marina mirage next door

Great shopping area down by the water. But its basically deserted due to Covid. But due to this there are some great bargains to be had. We scored a leather jacket reduced from $350 to $99.

Well worth a visit. This National Trust property offers many attractions and exhibits. The bird show was well presented and the audience loved it. Really enjoyed our breakfast with the koalas - nice food, great coffee, great commentary and our male koala put on a full-throated and loud show! Really enjoyed the eel feeding. And the ancient pelican - over 50 years old. Good reptile house. The train rides are fun, and useful - this is a largish facility.

Nothing bets buying fresh prawns straight off the trawler. Great experience, the people are friendly and the prawns are perfect.

The play area near the aquatic centre was fun. The playground looked clean and so did the rockpools water area. Not very crowded at about 2-3pm. There is a cafe nearby but it is a bit pricey. Great for kids aged 2-10.
