Runs on a one-hour cycle between downtown Queensland and the Hilton at the end of the lake (with two stops in between). Costs is 14 NZD each way if paid by credit card; less with local discount cards. Service is prompt, efficient and friendly. The wartercraft has a capacity of about 25 people; was about half full each time I took it. Given the traffic congestion around Queenstown, this is a great option if staying near one of the stops (including the Hilton complex).

Ferry tides are usually very interesting, as they provide opportunity to see what one cannot see through rides. The wast pool of water, with it’s own flora and fauna. Queenstown ferries are very enjoyable at a low cost.

If needing to get into Queenstown from the airport and want a cheap solution, try catching the Ritchies bus service from outside the terminal. You just need to go out of the terminal, cross to the bus station and wait for the No#1 bus. Normally a 15 min wait max if you have just missed one. It costs 10 dollars NZ to get into central Queenstown (Camp ST bus stop). Going back out to the airport, the cost is the same and the bus goes from the other side of Camp ST that you got in on. Same bus, No#1, going back. The drivers are very helpful. The only issue is the buses are just normal passenger buses and don't have luggage racks to place your suit cases in.That is the only issue I found. Other than that, its the best way into Queenstown or back to the airport.

I can really recommend QT snow transport. We couldn't get a car park at the remarkables in the school holidays, and we managed to find these guys on google and they came and collected our family and took us up the mountain and picked us up at the end of the day. They absolutely saved our travel plans because we had already paid for lessons and the ski lift passes, and just needed to get up there asap. Really nice people and great customer service. They even posted a ski glove to our home because we left it in the van.

Two weeks ago we had the best possible experience with Buckleys transport. Picked up from the Greenstone car park ahead of schedule (they even said they would have come a day earlier if we had rung them - as we walked out a day early).Taken into Queenstown, then dropped at different sites. Friendly courteous and helpful.
Charge for trip only when they were 100% certain we would be able to go. Appreciated they are fully onboard with protecting us all from COVID

My husband and I did the self-guided Rides to Riches Arrowtown to Queenstown ride. I had an issue with my chain breaking just outside of Arrowtown and Going Blue arrived within 20 minutes to exchange the bike and set us on our way. Hint in case you miss the instructions like I did. Make sure the bike is in low gear BEFORE going up a hill. We really appreciated the quick and friendly service. Also bring water as there are few if any places along the way as most of the trails are remote. The trail system itself is amazing. Very little portion on any road. Most on well maintained tracks through fields, forests, farms and alongside rivers, over numerous brides and by Lake Wakipitu near the end. It didn’t hurt that we had amazing weather and that very few people were on the trails that day. I would highly recommend Going Blue for this trip. The e-bikes we rode were in excellent condition, service was prompt and friendly.

Went to pick up our car in Auckland & it was in the worst condition. Dents & scratches on the outside & ripped/damages seats inside. Nothing like the picture on their website. It was an embarrassment to drive around for a week. Won't be using this car rental place again.

Easy ski is a great way to get to Cardrona without the stress of driving. Our driver Laura grew up in the region and her experience and knowledge of the history was very insightful. She made the trip interesting and entertaining. Hotel pick up made the trip very easy and I recommended highly to anyone! If you get Laura as you driver you will also learn about the area which was pretty cool!

Loved every minute ! The horses, scenery and staff are all fantastic. It was very chilly on our ride so it was a nice touch to be given gloves and rubber boots . The horses are treated beautifully ,Bailey our guide was so very friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks Sid and Winston for allowing us to ride you and have such an enjoyable morning.
