I cannot rate this tour highly enough! Lucy was an incredible guide, and extremely kind! We were delayed due to weather for hours, and she was kind enough to wait for us to arrive and rearranged the schedule to include the best things we could do in the amount of time we had! We were able to see so much of Dunedin, including the highlights of the city and wildlife! Thank you Lucy!

We absolutely loved seeing the penguins come ashore and waddle up the beach! They are adorable if not a bit smelly. It was truly a very special thing to witness. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Exceptional service which took our tour from good to great. Knowledgeable crew on board who make sure you see all the beautiful sea life in the area while you’re on board. Special touches are added to ensure your comfort, like the use of binoculars and warm jackets. Highly recommend this tour if you want to see wildlife in the Dunedin area.

Prompt shuttle pick up at our hotel, wonderful cruise up the harbour and out into the open ocean with very informative commentary and a hot cuppa. We were lucky to have good weather and it was a very smooth trip with the staff being helpful and accommodating.

The vessel was well equipped with waterproof jackets for anyone that needed them, binoculars provided (even small ones for the kids), cover available if desired but we all chose to sit on the front deck as it was such glorious weather.

We saw loads of sea birds and nesting sites which were well explained.

    Thoughly enjoyable outing.

We took this tour from the cruise ship, having been recommended as a good tour. We choose to purchase it online prior using the online booking on the website, however it was easy to purchase on the day at the terminal.

Our first stop was at the Octagon where we had 45min of self directed touring. After that it was off to Baldwin Street and then the Aviary's at the Botanical Garden. We had about 45min there and Andrew gave some commentary as well has giving good suggestions for viewing the garden areas based on time / mobility.

We finished the tour at the Railway Station / Settlers Museum which again we had about 45min to spend how we see fit. At this point we were given the option of staying in town for another couple of hours and catching the later bus back to the port.

We felt this tour was really good value for money and will have no hesitation in promoting it.

Feel very lucky to have my own personal tour. Very informative and wonderful to learn about all the good work being done for our native birds. Awesome way to spend the morning. The bird sanctuary is great, so fun watching the tui and kaka frolic about

I have always loved taking photographs, but I had never ventured off the automatic setting of my camera, as I didn’t know where to start. This workshop opened my eyes to a different side of photography, which was exactly what I was looking for.

There is a great balance of theory, learning how to use your camera and practical application, with the chance to put what you have learnt into practice.

The locations that we visited were excellent, as they were scenically beautiful and allowed for great photography, with lots of elements of interest that we could photograph.

Yoann, the guide, had a wealth of experience and knowledge of photography. It was evident that he loved sharing this with us. He was enthusiastic and passionate about photography, which made the experience even more memorable.

I would not hesitate to recommend this new tour to anyone who wants to improve their knowledge and practical photography skills, as it is suitable for a wide range of experience, abilities and cameras (as long as your camera has a manual mode). 😊
