    Great!

Good value for money. Group size was good. Guide introduced the different parties attending to each other nicely and was very friendly in general.

Lots of different wines, not too much driving, good lunch, couple of beers, and some chocolate. No obligation to purchase any bottles or merchandise.

Locations were all really lovely. Guide arrived on time and dropped us back before 5 pm.

I'd do the same trip again, or another from this operator.

I took Pinnacles all inclusive Rottnest island tour.Ideal when tou have just a day and want to see it all;Besides being senior freindly.
The pick up was spot on.The whole trip was at a leisurely pace and covered by very knowledgeable and guides proud of the history of the place. This gave me a better feel of the place as it was since the WW2 times.
As promised had a good Tete -A-Tete with the Quokkas too.
A sumptuous vegetarian lunch was provided for me-On the whole a great expereince.
    Spots for improvement would be:
Have a signage at the ferry landing itself to direct clients to the train station(There were non english speaking people who struggled and were confused, though the information centre personnel put in all efforts to help them.)
The public address system in the tour bus needs to be more efficient.

This was a trip of 6 parts, initially a coach trip (minibus) with a fantastic, funny and knowledgeable driver 5/5.
Part two at the sandlford winery, brilliant wine presented by a brilliant guy, 5/5
Part 3 at the Lancaster winery, rushed through the tastings and the only info presented was, this is ....type of grape. The wine was excellent which helped the score 3/5
Part 4, lunch, excellent service, delicious food and a great accompanied wine, 5/5
Part 5, the Mandoon winery and cheese tasting, again the wine tasting was rushed with very little information and way too many people for the amount of cheese supplied 3/5
Part 6 , trip back on the Swan River, amazing journey, the wine flowed more than the river, ace crew, 5/5

2 winery stops were quite pleasant, the chocolate factory and providoor stop was very rushed and only had 20 mins to complete both, as a result did not get to have a look in the chocolate factory. This was dissapointing. The cruise back along the swan river was excellent with nice afternoon tea and great entertainment by the staff.

Really great tour - would thoroughly recommend. Tim has chosen 4 very different vineyards so there is a nice variety, and the lunch options were excellent with very generous portion sizes.

It was a very nice experience. Food was great, company hilarious and the noise in the downstairs dining area super loud. But hey it’s a fun scenic ride.

Had a marvellous afternoon touring the Swan Valley, tasting lovely wines, great chocolates & nice beer. Claude was a great host, very knowledgable about the wines/area & a fun companion for the few hours. The vineyard hosts were super nice to chat too while tasting their lovely wines. This tour was wonderful way to spend an afternoon around Perth.

We enjoy our wine & wanted a tour that concentrated on the wineries rather chocolate or cheese-makers. Shannon is an expert guide & provided us with an excellent itinerary starting with fantastic wine/canopy pairing, a delicious lunch at the second winery, & two other wineries all showcasing the wonderful wines in the Swan Valley. The wineries were all smaller, family run, & very welcoming, giving us a chance to sample the huge range of different wines produced in this area. We will definitely use Up Close & Local for our next trip to the Margaret River wineries.

We had a wonderful experience. Cruise on the Swan River was a wonderful way to start the day , lunch was excellent, our stops at two wineries, a brewery and the Chocolate shop were great then coach home to Perth. Organisation was great from Captain Cook Cruises, all the staff at each stop plus Keith our Coach Captain was extremely efficient and we had perfect weather.

The half-day tour didn't start well as the bus missed picking us up in Guildford (we were at the appointed spot in good time) and by the time this was rectified we were already behind the rest of the tour at the first stop. However, we caught up the the tastings and really enjoyed the 3 contrasting vineyards we visited; one large, one smaller and one more rustic but all with some interesting and varied wines. Chatting to the staff in each venue was wonderful, as their passion for the products shone through. The supply of wines was plentiful with food accompaniments being offered also. The brewery and its beer was OK, but it would have been better to have seen the brewery itself not just a bar area. The chocolate stop was a bit pointless and some of the other guest spent their time in the distillery next door, which would have added value to the trip which was $90 per person and just about worth it. A really enjoyable afternoon was had though.

Tracy is the bomb! Lovely wicked sense of humor and great tips regarding best buys at each venue. No old fogie music, modern and retro, iconic and fun tunes. Loads of fun. We had opportunities
to try a full cheese board, olive, choc liqueurs, pesto on French bread, beer, chips and a wide variety of wines to suit all tastes. Highly recommend.
