    Enjoyed our browse in the mall
    Great to see more people in the mall than during our previous visit and resulting in a better vibe. Our fellow tourists headed to the various department stores and shops, evidently a successful foray judging by the various bags and parcels that accompanied them back to the bus.

    Covid Closures but still a good variety
    Sad to see the adverse impact of the pandemic here, a number of outlets closed since our last visit but still managed over three hours of browsing, snacking and the wife purchasing. Sales in most locations, just required an improvement in service standards as most outlets seemed to be functioning on minimum staffing levels of one. Good parking available but we utilised the Yellow CAT service. An enjoyable snack at the Coffee Club before we headed elsewhere.

    Not much vibe here.
    Few people in Forest Place when we visited on the 12th, even the tenancies that comprise Forest Chase were short on customers. After a quick lunch at the Coffee Club, we headed into Myer where I located a quiet corner to read the newspaper while my wife roamed the ladies' departments. Disappointed to note that Bocelli Espresso had been compelled to vacate their site of many years in Forest Place.

    Shopping time for the family
    Needed to get some stuff before we head the road south. This place is have all sort of stalls and brands, similar to dressmart in NZ. Sales tags were everywhere which gives great value to the products. There is a food hall at one corner of the place with good enough selection of quick meal and coffee. Its like a warehouse and fully sheltered from the elements.

    Used to be better
    We use it only as a shortcut between Hay and Murray streets. Lots of shops are shut and boarded, such a shame being a prime location in the city, but with all the homeless and crime, people tent to shop in suburban shopping centres.

    Impressive gallery, helpful staff
    Stumbled across this gem on a recent visit to Perth. We were on the lookout for a present for friends back home and were delighted to find a huge collection of prints to choose from in this lovely gallery. The owner Steven was super helpful, spent a good while with us, guiding us to the perfect gift, all with a smile. Definitely pop in to have a browse, it's on the cutest street in Perth too in my opinion so well worth the visit!

    Worth a visit if in the city.
    Headed underground on this occasion to visit Jons Shoe Repair. Not sure what changes are underway in this section of the arcade with hoardings, a very restricted food court and limited pedestrian traffic in contrast to the upper levels. Back upstairs all outlet seemed busy, certainly many more people than below. Definitely worth visiting if in the area.

    Fairly long and wide pedestrian only mall. Nothing spectacular here.
    This quite wide, open pedestrian only mall runs from William Street to Barrack Street, a distance of approximately 400 metres.

    There is a range of different shops on either side of the Mall if you are interested in some retail therapy.

    The Food Court & Shopping
    In contrast to other malls and arcades, Carillon City was busy, good numbers in the food court and the shops. Two of our favourite city shops are located here and few trips to Perth is undertaken without a visit. There is a good range of outlets; men's and ladies footwear, jewellers, beauty, etc. Bright and airy and a great location between the malls and adjacent Forrest Chase.

    Interesting displays from times gone by
    Heathcote was once a psychiatric institution and some relics from the past remain. It now hosts artistic exhibitions. Heathcote has one of the best views over the Swan and Canning Rivers. It is a much-loved picnic spot. Try and get there early, parking is limited

    Exceptional from start to finish!
    The experience at Elizabeth Quay from start to finish was exceptional, the staff were informative, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The history of Willie Creek Pearls, the harvesting and how it has developed over the years was very interesting. We did the experience as part of our pearl wedding anniversary celebrations, the experience is something we will remember for many more years to come. The bubbles and canapés were also fabulous.

    Packed foodhall on a Sunday
    Carpark was packed when we arrived, and it took some time to locate a parking space. Hardly an empty seat in the foodhall area and that allowed my wife to browse her favourite shops in comfort. I encountered my usual problems in the various male outlets, I had to be 2XL or smaller, didn't even find a 3XL on this visit.

    Great to shop for fresh fruit and veges. The food court has many amazing food types. Stalls are goof good variety.

    English Tudor style shopping arcade. A bit different to some of the others.
    This largely uncovered arcade stretches between St Georges Terrace and Hay Street Mall. We walked down it to get away from the traffic.

    Some different and unusual retail offerings with attractive shop fronts.

    The main item of interest though for us was the clock on the facade facing Hay Street Mall which showed some knights jousting when the clock struck the quarter hour.

    Worth a walk through.

    I see all here just half an effort ripp off Indonesian Abooriginal art i noticed the owners wife is Indonesian so do not be suprised that expensive painting does not have a Certificate,contact Aboriginal liason
