A pristine beach with amazing blue water, we will be back to swim out to the rock, go for a walk along the beach and build sand castles, take a picnic, umbrella and spend the day there.
The sea is more protected than other beaches meaning my son and I had a wonderful swim (although I also saw a very good swimmer get flipped over while bodysurfing) and it was also more protected from the westerly...

White sand, blue water, easy access, great rock scrambling and a fantastic coastal walk !! The weather cooperated with a perfect early winter day with blue sky’s and fluffy white clouds and a warm sun.
My favourite beach, Meelup Beach in Dunsborough in WA, is idyllic for summer swimming and boating, just glorious with its shaded sandy beach, calm waters and facilities to ensure the prefect day at the beach.

... stingrays I have lost count The colours in the water are beautiful as the sun rises and the shark sanctuary is worth the short walk - involves a fair bit of rock hopping I’d caution- and can be very rewarding.
Mushroom coral and cabbage coral if you go out on the glass bottom boat, parrot fish, angel fish, clown fish and darts from the beach, add turtles, rays, sharks, barracuda from a boat.

Loved spending time here the water is amazing, great for snorkelling and there was also life guards on duty and a shaded cover with a couple of picnic tables unlike other beaches.
After our bike ride around Rottnest Island - which is a must for any visitor - we rode back to 'The Basin' which was the most beautiful and sheltered spot out of all the stunning bays we rode past.
