Was only able to visit one market and I was glad it was this one.

Very busy place but the food has been amazing. Can easily spend 1-2 hours here if not in a rush, seeing what the people are selling and foods to try

This market was a joy to visit. There was great range of stalls where we were able to buy fresh pasta, meats, cheeses, fruit and vegetables. We also bought fresh pastries and filled rolls. We will definitely revisit when we are next in Melbourne.

The Flemington Racecourse Market is held monthly at Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne's inner west. Most of the produce is grown in Victoria's fertile regional farmlands. Other items for sale include craft works and an assortment of old wares is offered for sale. The racecourse is very scenic, it is the venue for the Melbourne Cup, one of the world's pre-eminent thoroughbred races.

Swanston was a vibrant shopping street with a lot of shops, cafes and restaurants. It stretches from Flinders Street Station to Melbourne Univeristy.

Queen Victoria Market is a huge open air Market in Melbourne city. It is enormous in size and there are hundreds of stalls selling just about anything you might imagine. You can buy clothing, toys, food (fresh or otherwise, fruit and vegetables, meat etc), electrical and electronic items, and everything else in between! Prices are not expensive for most items, althoughthere some things that are quite pricey.
