This is the true 'central point' of the Melbourne Central Business District, with the highlight being the iconic Myer Melbourne flagship department store that is on six levels (seven when Santaland is open pre-Christmas).
Myer has a huge range (including sports equipment and clothing in the basement) of homewares, kitchen and entertainment equipment, ladies', mens' and children's clothing plus on the ground floor, a beauty section that will please most women.
It often has sales but even outside of this it stocks items no one else does, and prices are fine. There are also two cafes within Myer.
There's a Priceline opposite, and Swanston, Bourke and Elizabeth St trams serve the Mall.
