We caught the tram to docklands especially to visit ArtVo and thoroughly enjoyed our couple of hours taking amazing photos and the children aged from 10 to 14 all had great fun.
There must have been about 100 different paintings that you could pose with and it was very helpful having guides that would show you how to pose with the artwork and also take photos for you.

It was a stunning exhibition by 20 Victorian-based botanical artists inspired by pioneer botanical art collector Herman Beckler, the doctor on the ill-fated Burke and Wills expedition 1860-1861.

The history of the house is well presented and the house itself is lovely....we also had a light lunch at the gallery cafe which was delicious and toured the art on display.
We were very impressed with whole gallery and house, we were allowed to wander around by our selves to admire the artwork and workmanship of the building.
My daughter in law is an artist in her own right and was enthralled by the range of talent on display, We all enjoyed the tress and the natural surrounds as well as the variety of sculptures .

Burke Museum

Make sure you visit the Burke museum if you are going to Beechworth! Grab the golden ticket from the information centre or the court house and you can see so many of the towns attractions including amazing guided...
It takes about 30mins to go through everything but it's fascinating to see objects and stories detailing the history of the area.
Was amazed by the amount of wonderful items to see and to see all the Dragons together was amazing once again were allowed to take photos ( without flash) the staff very helpful and friendly , cost very reasonable
... but once inside we could have spent several hours looking at the wide and fascinating exhibits on display which you can get very close to, such as the huge carnival dragons with their intricate and clever cons...
My kids loved the young blacksmith who was extremely polite and talented and loved to chat! Gemma and Joe are magnificent horses and the vintage car was fantastic.
Highly recomended we had a fantastic day , they have a great collection of all things old the grounds and displays are beautifully looked after by staff and volunteers , fun to watch the laser night show .... will...
The staff are incredibly helpful and it is set up to enable you to have a guided tour or walk around yourself.
Well worth the trip to a Heritage Centre and Museum -and it's free entry - but a donation would be good.

I have now visited the Grand prix Circuit twice with family ( my Grandkids love the Go-Karts ) The facilities are fantastic , the staff are really helpful and eager to assist and their its a lot to see.
Even if you know very little about cars you can still appreciate the aesthetics of these well maintained vehicle and the event provides a perfect chance for lovers of historic vehicles to meet up and pit their car...
