Although it’s a lot packed in a day it’s the best way to see Kangaroo Island. Bus picks you up, 1.5 hours to the ferry terminal then takes you to kangaroo island where another tour bus is waiting to show you all the sights. Price includes a delicious lunch, ferry tickets and drop off and pick ups from Adelaide. Really worth it. Travelled with my elderly Mum who thoroughly enjoyed it.
Just one pet peeve- please reduce the air conditioning on the bus! Apart from that all tour guides were fantastic!

This was probably the best day tour I have ever done. Our local guide Darren is obviously very proud of his island home and we were the beneficiaries of his enthusiasm. The tour took us to many of the highlights of Kangaroo Island where we saw botanical natives, native wildlife, sea life, coastal walks and spectacular views. Fur seals, sea lions and koalas ensured our tour was a success. We enjoyed a fresh beef salad, cake and a drink for lunch. I think the tour was exceptional value and I cannot recommend this company highly enough. Thanks to Darren who made the day very special indeed.

I highly recommend this tour! Colin is an amazing tour guide with a lot of knowledge and great sense of humor. He showed us Australia's best wildlife as well as the beautiful nature of the island!

This was a trip of two halves. The first day with 47 other travellers was a lot of coach travel and the second day with 12 others was much more relaxed.
First I must praise our guide Hamish for his amazing knowledge and how he handled the problems on the first day.
With a packed itinerary what you need is everything going to plan but it didn’t - ferry arrived late, passenger took a long time in the bathroom, and road works. So we arrived at Seal Bay too late to do the guided tour. However good views of seals from the public viewing platform. Rest of the day went according to plan and night in Seafront hotel was good. Food in Kiosk good but not much choice.
Second day was brilliant with a small group and plenty of time for Hamish to stop and show us more things on the way including his home beach - Pennington bay. Best thing on the trip the Raptor show where Hamish had advised us to sit on the front row so I had a barn owl sitting on my knee.
My advice to other travellers. Don’t do the one day trip to Kangaroo Island that goes to Remarkables Rocks and Admirals Arch unless you really only have one day free. It starts at 6.30 am in Adelaide and finishes around 10 pm. If I could do it all again, and I had the time, I would opt for the 3 day Sealink guided tour.

My husband and I did this tour as a shore tour onboard the Pacific Explorer cruise ship. We thoroughly enjoyed this full day tour. Our bus driver Hamish was the best! He was so informative and his commentary really added to our overall experience. He's humorous and a nice person too! The tour itself was great and we enjoyed all of the stops along the way. Lunch was great too! We would definitely recommend this tour as it's a great way to see all of the magnificent sights of Kangaroo Island if you have limited time on the island.

Lovely experience. Our guide, Darren, was very polite, accommodating, knowledgeable and fun. The island is beautiful and whatever you do, don’t miss the seals. Thanks again Darren and my fellow travellers for a great day.
    Highly recommend ❤️

The start of the day was not great. The first bus driver from Adelaide to ferry was super rude. Once we were on Kangaroo Island Scott our tour guide picked us up and then he was marvellous. He is soo knowledgeable about KI and his story were awesome to hear. The several stops were great however there is so much to see on Kangaroo island that we only just scraped the surface. Would have love to stay a full week.
The day was very long with over 9 hours of travel time.

Fabulous tour, Luca was very responsive and helpful. We booked a day tour to include Seal Bay some amazing beaches and stunning areas off the beaten track and to include all the native abundant wildlife. The whole day felt very personal and incredibly informative! All under the guidance of Nikki who not only has lived on the island most of her life, but is a wildlife photographer! With an extensive knowledge of the island, wildlife, history and just seemed to know everyone on the island! Nothing was missed and the day was packed full of Kangaroos, Koalas, Seals and one cute little Echidna.. Oh and a lovely spot was chosen for a delicious BBQ lunch.

We had a wonderful cruise with KI Safari. Staff were friendly, helpful and full of local knowledge. We were lucky and saw seals and a pod of dolphins who swam alongside for quite a while!
    Highly recommend!

We had Dave as our tour guide who was absolutely fantastic. Friendly, knowledgeable and very patient and encouraging with our kids (9,11&13) none of whom had done ATV riding before and aren’t always great with instructions! We all had a blast riding the ATV’s and getting to see some of the wildlife and bush - the highlight of our holiday! Would recommend to anyone of all skill levels.

We did the 2 day trip with Nikki as our guide. She got us up close and personal with kangaroos, wallabies, koala, echidnas, eagles, lizards, and too many birds to name. She was a wealth of knowledge on the animals, the island history, and fielded our numerous questions. She also cooked up a killer BBQ lunch. I would definitely recommend KI Hire a Guide to anyone looking to visit the island. While the 1 day trip is nice, having the second day let us not only see the island sights but also spend more time with the animals. It was also quite easy to leave the rental car on the mainland, ride the ferry over, and get dropped off back at the ferry late on the second day for the return ride.

This tour was amazing .We travelled in a mini bus with Lutz as our driver. He was the best tour guide we have ever had and we have done a lot of tours. He was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. He gave us an informative history of Kangaroo Island and took us to extra spots to see seals and wallabies over and above the destinations on our tour.we visited the lavender farm and had a morning tea of delicious lavender scones, tasted gin at the distillery, visited the honey farm,a winery and the eucalyptus distillery where we had a cider tasting.would totally recommend this tour over and above the tour operated by P & O for value for money..All stops were included in the price and we didn’t need to pay for morning tea or entrance to tastings..I totally recommend this tour to anyone on a cruise and especially Lutz.

We visited Hanson Wildlife Sanctuary on a recommendation. We were not disappointed.
Tom our guide was fantastic! He is a wealth of knowledge on the local area including history and major events. We were able to view Koala's, Cape Barren Geese, Western Grey Kangaroos & Tammar Wallabies as well as the native flora. The casual walk through the bush was so enjoyable having Tom point interesting things out as he saw them and answering our questions.
A wonderful experience thank you Tom.
