We did it in about three hours enjoying every step, the garden of Eden is a magnificent spot to stop for lunch, the scenery so beautiful this was the highlight of out trip simply stunning
Hire a car, pack a lunch and get up early, drive to Kings Canyon, do the rim walk, the riverbed walk and then drive to Kathleen Springs for that easy walk then drive back to Uluru.

peter and Christine take great pride in explaining their culture and traditions to visitors and do so in a relaxed yet thoroughly professional way.
We learnt, amongst other things, about bush medicines, food, even tasting a witchetty grub!!! Amazing experience, highly recommended, if you want to learn about true aboriginal culture.

However, so was everything else - back canyon, the crater behind that, Katherine Spring, the wild brumbies and camels and of course Tristan the pilot, who was lovely, knowledgable and professional.
My wife and I took a flight with Pat the pilot around Kings Canyon the day of our 10th anniversary we had a 2 hour stop over heading to Alice Springs.
