A long day but a really great day. Well organised, informative staff, safe drivers. Very good food! This is a great option I f you don’t have time for an overnight stay at Uluṟu.

Starting the flight in the half dark and all of a sudden the sun comes up to give an amazing view across the valley!

The gentleman controlling the balloon was knowledgeable, showed us amazing sights and also made us feel very safe!

My 7 year old wanted to ride a camel for her birthday with some family and friends. After a little nervousness to begin, the friendly guides assisted her friend and we all ended up having a great time. We had two toddlers, 3 primary school aged children and 3 adults, we all had a beautiful and relaxing ride. Great views of the ranges!

Mahesh was a great guide and had so much knowledge to share. He went the extra mile by taking lots of photos for us and including extra stops that weren’t on the tour. 100% recommend! The lemon biscuits were amazing and such a great touch. Thanks Mahesh!

Bus driver (Brett) was very knowledgeable and not over the top with facts you don’t need to know. The reptile park must be rated best in the world especially if the presentation is done by Rex. Better and more informative than Irwins.

We took this shuttle in both directions and can thoroughly recommend it . There were plenty of breaks and lots of good commentary. The only improvement would have been if all passengers and the driver had been required to wear masks - there were a few people coughing and sneezing. People forget that Uluru is over 400km from Alice.

My husband and I phoned NTAS directly on the chance they may have a booking available as their website was not indicating availability for another six days. It was our second last day in the Alice and we anticipated our ballooning maybe cancelled due to winds. To our delight we had the magnificent opportunity of doing the AS hot lap with two very competent and personable female pilots, Sam and Emily. What a wonder being able to view the majesty of the MacDonnell ranges from the air. Everything takes on a different perspective from the air. Sam and Emily were very professional and informative about the various landmarks. A thoroughly professional business. Would highly recommend NTAS if you are wanting a brilliant birds eye view of Alice Springs and surrounds. Thanks Sam and Emily.

Kimberley was fabulous! Provided us a custom tour to see the West Macs region and also an Aboriginal enterprise which was really interesting. A great mix of culture, sightseeing and education. Highly recommend Kimberley for small groups, she will take care of you. Ormiston Gorge, Ellery Creek and Standly Chasm are places I will remember forever. Stunning scenery.

Palm Valley with Sanddrifters day tours.
Early start with Bill in a comfortable 4WD 14 seat tour bus.
We drove to Palm Valley and walked the valley and the top of the sandstone range. The palms, ghost gums and cycads make beautiful vertical gardens. The 4WD drive into the valley was quite bumpy and rugged. We were certainly glad Bill was driving and we could relax and checkout the scenery.

This is an excellent way to reach Ayers Rock Resort from Alice Springs. About 400 kms of outback country, with breakfast at a roadhouse on the way (breakfast is included in the fare).
Our driver was Jimmy, an informative, entertaining (but not too much so!) young man. He didn't talk all the way, instead letting us know when interesting things were coming up and then letting us enjoy the passing scenery in peace.

I am a bit hesitant about reviewing this tour, as hidden gems should sometimes stay hidden. However, it is difficult to overlook Mount Conner, it is just difficult to get close to it, and you can only do so on a tour ex Ayers Rock Resort or Curtin Springs Station. I found out about the tour while looking for an alternative to a day I had meant to spend at the Camel Cup which was cancelled. It was a good choice, as I had been curious about Mount Conner ever since first setting eyes on it over 40 years ago. We travelled in a small group, and the time to Curtin Springs Station passed quickly, as our guide Wayne was a mine of information and we learned a lot about the history of the station. My only regret was that there weren't any photo stops, as the landscape is truly spectacular. We did have a number of stops, though, once we had closed the station gates behind us. The first, and somewhat unexpected one in its beauty, was at a huge salt lake that stretched to the horizon. After that the stops were with scenic views of Mount Conner from various angles, finishing with sunset, sparkling wine and nibblies at a waterhole. It was much more peaceful than sunset at Uluru and Kata Tjuta. Before heading back to Ayers Rock Resort we had a no-frills dinner at Curtin Springs Station where we met and chatted with some of the family clan.

Easily one of the highlights of our stay in Alice Springs. James the tour guide is informative, engaging and friendly. He took us on a easy walk for a couple of blocks and along the river. He also has access to historic sites such as the the open air cinema, the schools and fhe gaol. The tour goes for about 99 minutes and helped us to get a comprehensive perspective of Alice. Highly recommend this tour
