This was an excellent tour with guide Steve who was a mine of information. Thoroughly enjoyed the day with a great group of people, three wineries, cheese tasting and lunch. A must do! Thank you so much Steve for a great day out.

Such a fun day!! Loved spending the day with Jimmy and his love for food. He pairs his food perfectly with the wine you are tasting. Got to experience Sydney in a whole new way!

A great food tour with like minded guests. Noorlinda was very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humour. Highlight stops were the handmade noodles and tea ceremony

Robyn was a fantastic guide. She walked us through Newtown as she educated us about this charming, diverse community and its very creative and unique food. We tasted things we’d never seen or heard of. We were amazed with the creativity used with food. It was a wonderful and very delicious tour!

We could not have had a better day. The first winery was exceptional and the cheese tasting was really good as well. The pairing of wine and chocolate was also good but the wine at the first one was the best. Our driver was really good, friendly and full of information about the locations as well as interesting information along the way. We even saw kangaroos! We had such a perfect day!

This tour was a real highlight of our recent trip to Sydney.
Our group could have all fitted in one vehicle but we were picked up from our accommodation in two luxurious vehicles so that we had room to be comfortable and really enjoy our day. This is the kind of thoughtful and excellent service that Helen and her staff give you during your tour.
The food and drinks on this tour is AMAZING!! You get a glimpse into the plethora of top shelf eateries that Sydney has to offer without booking months in advance or lining up for hours.
Helen's knowledge of the city and its eateries if inspiring.
I highly recommend you do this tour, you will go hungry and come back with a full stomach and some great knowledge about the city and suburbs.
    You will not be disappointed.

This brand is a bit hit and miss and this one in Sydney is at the lower end. The only reason I didnt rate this 2 stars were a couple of the workers were friendly enough. The wear and tear and food are 2 stars.

This is a fantastic Foodie Tour. My guide demonstrated expert knowledge and fantastic Australian hospitality. I was the only one on the tour, as the four cancelled last minute. She honored my booking and took me on the tour anyway, which left me with more food to eat a private tour experience. I would highly recommend this as it takes a survey of all the different foodie experiences in the Surry Hills area of Sydney. I highly recommend.

Amazing way to experience the Hunter Valley in style. Matt was super communicative from day 1 - helping answer any questions we had about the day and even let us customize our tour to include a variety of vineyards and a pescatarian friendly lunch.

We started the day with Matt greeting us at our hotel and headed to breakfast at the beach. There was more food than we could possibly finish yet it was delicious.

We headed out to the valley to do a private wine tasting and even a tour of the vineyard! Then we went to lunch and our second tasting. Lunch was multi courses and had an incredible food and wine pairing.

We finished the day with a stop at a quaint cellar door that had friendly dogs on the property which we loved. On our drive back to Sydney, Matt was able to point out kangaroos and kookaburra birds, and we pulled over to get a closer look.

We arrived back at our hotel around 6:30PM and bid farewell.

For anyone looking for a premier wine experience in the Hunter Valley - this is it. Friendly, knowledgeable, patient and a true pleasure.

What an amazing experience. It seemed a lot of money but I don't regret a penny. Pick up was on time, nice settling period at the airport. A moment of concern when I realised how small the helicopter was. It was just my husband and I on the trip so he had front seat and I was more than happy to sit behind. Take off was a bit scary, having never been in a helicopter before - you really get a sense of speed and height. We had two laps of the harbour before travelling up the coast towards the Hunter Valley. The pilot was brilliant, pointing out landmarks and answering questions. Felt like celebrities arriving for lunch. First class table and wonderful food with views over the vineyard valley. Ideallic. Brave enough for the front seat on return journey.

Yes, expensive but if you want to tick off the bucket list then this experience would be hard to beat. Beats 4 hrs in a stuffy bus!

My 21 year old son and his friend and I went on this highly recommended Wine tasting to Hunter Valley. There were 9 of us in the nice air conditioned minivan . Colin was our guide. It was a rainy day in Sydney and was rainy as well in the Hunter Valley. Despite the inclement weather, we had a fantastic time. Colin was an excellent tour guide. He was so knowledgeable, easy to talk to and very enthusiastic. He really ensured that we all would enjoy the trip. There were some people in our group that did not speak English and I believe they still had a wonderful time as well. Our first stop was at the Hunter Wine Lab and we tasted many many wines with Nathan as our wine guide. He is also the owner and vintner there. He even let us try some beers that he brews there as well. This was definitely the best stop according to my party. We then went to McCaffrey's Estate and had another set of excellent wines and fantastic fantastic cheese selections to accompany the wine. Mel was our host and she was great. At this point, I am a bit hazy/drunk but I think we hit one more winery which was excellent and then an excellent lunch of pizza and salad. I don't remember which order we did these in because I was feeling pretty good. Our last stop was at a distillery that specializes in flavored gin vodka and liquor that glitters. Our server was not very personable however I suspect that he was not thrilled with our behavior. The trip is a long one. We left promptly at 725am and returned around 7 pm. It is about 2.5 hours to the Hunter Valley. However I would highly recommend this for anyone who has a day to kill and likes good food and wine. We even got to see the wild kangaroos that are in the valley in abundance. Definitely go on this trip. You will have a blast.

Booked this tour as a b'day gift for my b'friend. I would say, a reasonable priced tour and the driver was flexible. Started our tour from Sydney to Hunter and visited Tyrells as the first stop. Then, chocolates and done vodka tasting in test tubes. Had a great day & thank you.

This was the tour that I didn't think I needed and boy was I wrong!
As a local from Melbourne I didn't have the best impression of Sydney, but Peter has turned my perspective around and made me fall in love with Sydney. This was a great tour to get inspired to explore delicious places.

    Pros:
    - Great selection of food - very well thought out and its great to have good food in places you would never think to go, especially if you are constrained by time and transportation. Peter is great with knowing the local spots and its a lovely experience getting to know the local owners and having that interaction that you would not normally get on commercial tours.
    - No need to organize, plan or think. It is great tour to do when all you want to is just to sit back and enjoy the ride plus eat!
    - You are in safe hands Peter is attentive and knowledgeable. He ensures the journey is good fun.

    Cons:
    - Not enough stomach space to keep on eating!
    - Could not eat dinner after the tour :)

This is a unique and must try experience. I highly recommend if you are after something different and if food is your love language.

    Thanks so much Peter!

It was a fabulous day and cant wait to do a another version of this the next time I'm in Sydney!
